Questions for this shipment:

Question: are these plants all in their own pots or baskets? i am making a trip to fla in about 2 weeks w/ enclosed trailer. that should fit your time frame fine. i could pick up anytime and keep nice and warm in my house until ready to leave. how much do you think is a fair price? thanks (2/10/2006)
Response: They will all be in their own pots (all plastic). Based on the value of the plants and the calculated UPS ground rates with a 3.25% fuel surcharge, I think that $455 is a fair rate, but I am willing to pay more to ensure that the plants arrive safely, and in good health. (2/10/2006)
Question: We will be heading south about 2/18-20 and again about 3/3-10. We have shipped our own plants in our enclosed trailer last winter from NC to FL and lost a few. If we can do this shipment it will be in a climate controled enviroment. (2/10/2006)
Response: A climate controlled environment is certainly a plus! (2/10/2006)
Question: It appears you are located off Willow in or near the small row houses there. Send us a bid request if you would like us to bid. (2/10/2006)
Response: We are in the Curling Club apartment complex on the corner of Adams and Grand in Hoboken. (2/10/2006)
Question: are the pick up and drop of points easily accessible w/ truck and trailer? there is not a ton of steps on either end is there?once you are able to give me an answer i'll provide you w/ a bid. pick up will be determined on other loads in your area. thanks (2/10/2006)
Response: Our building has an elevator, and you can park temporarily in the garage to load the truck. (2/10/2006)
Question: i'll rebid for the same amount. not sure what happened. just a couple more things. can i pick them up soon while i am up in north jersey getting other items?is garage at you building big enough for truck and trailer? if not how far will i need to go to get them to the trailer? how much room do you think they will take up? and finally, what happends if i get to fla before you do? thanks (2/12/2006)
Response: Unfortunately, I am leaving for Jacksonville this week. Can you pick up the plants between Feb. 21st and 25th? What is your transit time? If you get to FL before we do, I can probably have you leave the plants at my office (I'll have to get back to you on that, though!). How big is your trailer? The garage is big enough to fit a cube van, but if your trailer is too big, you can probably park in the parking lot adjacent to the gargage. They would probably only take up 24 sq. ft of space. (2/12/2006)
Question: Thanks for the bid request. We will be in JC this week. Having lived and spent lots of time in Hoboken, I know that the snow could be a problem this week. Please let me know the best date and timeframe for your pick up. (2/12/2006)
Response: I will be in JAcksonville all this week, but I will be back this weekend. How many days will it take you to transport the shipment? Can you pick up the plants between Feb. 21st and 25th? (2/12/2006)
Question: my main trailer is feet long. i am buying a smaller 10 to 12 footer on tuesday. that makes trips like this easier. i can pick up on the 21st. i'll probably leave a few days later. i will be in st augustine later that evening so they won't be cold very long (2/13/2006)
Response: Sorry that I've been out of touch. I didn't have Internet access for several days due to a problem with my laptop. Please note that I have changed the expriration date of the bid due to this issue. I won't be in Florida until the 1st of March. Can you pick up closer to that date (2/13/2006)
Question: Can the pick up be 2/20 or does it have to be 21st? Arrival in FL is expected on 25th. (2/13/2006)
Response: Sorry that I've been out of touch. I didn't have Internet access for several days due to a problem with my laptop. Please note that I have changed the expriration date of the bid due to this issue. I won't be in Florida until March 1st. Can pick up occur so that the shipment is in Florida on or after that date? (2/13/2006)
Question: Would pick up for the first week of March work with delivery within 24 hrs? (2/14/2006)
Response: I won't be in Florida until March 1st, so that WILL certainly work!!! Sorry that I've been out of touch. I didn't have Internet access for several days due to a problem with my laptop. Please note that I have changed the expriration date of the bid due to this issue. (2/14/2006)
Question: looks like i am may be heading south on wed morning. will need time to pick up plants. please let me know if i have a shot at your business so i can plan ahead or cancel my bid. thanks (2/18/2006)
Response: Sorry that I've been out of touch. I didn't have Internet access for several days due to a problem with my laptop. Please note that I have changed the expriration date of the bid due to this issue. Given the new details, I understand that you will want to retract/cancel the last bid that you made, but I encourage you to place another bid! (2/18/2006)
Question: after this trip i probably won't be making another trip to fla until end of april at the earliest. i am not sure if this helps but i can leave the plants at my dads house in st augustine until you arrive in jax. i could then have my dad bring them up to you when you want them. or if you want to go down and get them i can knock the price down to 435. thanks (2/18/2006)
Response: How much extra would it be for your father to bring them up to Ponte Vedra for me? (2/18/2006)
Question: I will offer a bid on 2/19 with dates available. (2/18/2006)
Question: I will be in Hoboken later today. I will offer a bid tonight. (2/19/2006)
Question: well he only has a car but could rent a truck from home depot. not sure if he can wrestle the big one by himself? 125 bucks should cover everything inc truck for the day. thanks (2/19/2006)
