Question: Hi Shipper, Is your trailer registered, does it have lights and brakes and what does it have for a hitch; are the tires in good shape ? Is the 13' as the listed height, the height as it sits on the trailer? Has the trailer been serviced recently? Thanks, Ron (11/3/2009)

Response: The trailer is not registered. There are no brakes or lights. I think the height of boat is 13.5. I don't know about the boat plus trailer height. As for the hitch and tires, I don't know. I will put up more pictures of the hitch and tires. (11/3/2009)

Response: Hi Shipper, Because we cannot exchange contact information until a bid has been accepted on this site, communication is somewhat difficult. I want you to know we may be able to help. It would be far better for your boat if we could transport it on one of our air ride hydraulic trailers, however, getting it off the trailer it is on and onto ours, if there is no travel lift close by could be a problem, do you know if there is a lift close by, or could you find out? If it is only wiring brakes that are already on the trailer, (which may be the situation as it appears to be an older mobile home frame) that is still a possibility but not the best. Please let us know about the travel lift, Thanks, Ron at Freedom's Edge Marine. (11/3/2009)

Response: Hi,
It is currently stored where there is no machinery or cranes to pick the boat up (11/4/2009)

Response: Hi Shipper, Thank You for your prompt reply. Is there someone near where the trailer is located now that could check to see if there are brakes on at least one of the axles? Wiring them would not be that expensive and most mobile homes had at least two axles with brakes. Or, although the trailer could not make the trip to SC without brakes, lights, brake-away brakes, safety chains, legal tires and lights, (regardless of what anyone tells you) and a legal registration or transport tags, is there a marina close by where the boat could be towed on its own trailer with some work, to be lifted off. Thanks for all your help. (11/5/2009)
