Junk Listing Information

Junk Details:
Dimensions(s):
Additional Information:
Have no idea what the dimensions or weight are ... have a house I'm moving from and what doesn't go with me or get sold, goes to junk or donation. how do you charge and where are you located? I'm in chicago, near north side. Dont' care what you do with what you pick up here, just need it to get hauled away ... p/u date, morning, march 23, 24, 25 or 27. thanks.
Am also curiuos what you would charge to move a 1 bedroom apartment, standard size. same moving dates, possibly a few days earlier. everything but large furniture (e.g. bed, tables, desk) would be boxed, but you'd need to move everything. thanks.
Questions for this shipment:
Question:
We are professional movers from southern WI and we do a lot of moves in Chicago. We could help you out in hauling away your stuff and moving you. We could do the hauling for your price depending on what size vehicle we need to bring. For the apt move, we charge $110 per hour plus a $40 travel fee. It sounds like a 3-4 hour move depending on where you are moving to. Take a look at our feedback. We look forward to working with you. Thanks, marshall2732. (2/27/2006)
Response:
Appreciate your response. Am not sure how much I'll have yet as i've not found place to move yet. are your rates any less for weekday moves than weekend? (2/27/2006)
Question:
Hello: we're a Chicagoland based moving company. Do you have an idea of number of boxes and number of major furniture items? Or do you think that your items would fit in 14 ft long cargo trailer (8 wide and 6.5 high)? Thanks! Easymoving (2/27/2006)
Response:
no idea # of boxes or major furn. but should easily fit into your trailer, probably one trailer load, maybe 2 (2/27/2006)
Question:
if you can tell me roughly how much you have to haul away i can bid of that part....i'd be using a 20'x7' trialer with 3' sides, guestimate how many loads you think there'll be and i'll tell you the cost, or post a couple pics....i can hit it pretty close from that usually. (3/1/2006)
Response:
you're welcome to come out and see... am stil packing but don't think it would be even 1 trailer full that you'd be taking. (3/1/2006)
Question:
hello! have enclosed trailers and truck and would be happy to help you move and haul away the excess. details are a little too fuzzy to bid precisely, though, but am happy to approximate for your use and planning, and with more info i can nail prices exact and commit to them. to haul off your leftover stuff would be approx 250 to 400 depending on how much, and to move you about 500 to 800 depending on how much and where to. thanks much, and i look forward to serving your needs. thanks, terry (3/3/2006)
Response:
thanks, but you're a little higher than everyone else. am happy to keep your information though, and please bid again if you like on the move. here's what i have -- I have about 1-1/2 small rooms of furniture and about 30 or so banana carton size boxes. Am moving from Belmont and sheffield area of chicago to somewhere within 10-15 miles. need someone to move me the end of march and load and unload. move may be up stairs but not 3rd floor. have 1 couch, 2 desks, and possibly a 5'x1'x1' wood hutch, plus a few chairs and bookcases. No beds or dressers, but maybe a wood table. I do have a small 2-1/2'-round marble table as well. thanks. (3/3/2006)
Question:
Thanks for your respnse. We'll keep an eye on your listing for when you have a better idea of the contents of your move. We are very competitive in this area. Looking forward to working with you. Marshall2732 (3/3/2006)
Response:
thanks. to give you more info -- I have about 1-1/2 small rooms of furniture and about 30 or so banana carton size boxes. Question:
we are local and willing to haul away your unwanted items .the way we charge is 2 men and pick-up truck$75.00 a load. would this work for you .that way we would your move your items as you need. (3/4/2006)
Response:
75 total? does this include heavy piping as well, as I might have a few 6-10' long pipes. and what do you do with the stuff you take, and when could you do it as i need someone the end of the month, like the 25 or 26th (3/4/2006)
Question:
I was wondering if you thought your stuff would fit into a full size cargo van. Please let me know if you think it will, If it will I will be able to bid a good price. (3/6/2006)
Response:
have no idea how big a van this is. I have about 1-1/2 small rooms of furniture and about 30 or so banana carton size boxes. I do have a small 2-1/2'-round marble table as well. thanks. (3/6/2006)
Question:
Noticed the question for the other guy, "what do you do with what you haul off?" thought since i have a bid on this I'd voulenteer what we do. Everything will be seperated for recycling, the things that wont recycle (wood, insulation, etc)will be hauled into the landfill closest to our office (Liberty Landfill, Buffalo IN). (3/7/2006)
