Questions for this shipment:
Question:
I make runs all the time from Port clinton Ohio to Florida and could do this for you, however the rate would be $1.00 per mile. Let me know if that works. (3/29/2005)
Response:
Sorry, can'y pay a dollar a mile. (3/29/2005)
Question:
The best I could do is $1,000. I have a trailer to bring back to ohio so that cost could be offset by that. (3/30/2005)
Response:
I think have this taken care of. Thanks, Peter (3/30/2005)
Question:
Pickup date is April 15th? I can do this for $850.00 What size of ball is needed? (4/1/2005)
Question:
Sorry, I cant do this do to requirements of Uship and not having a credit card yet. Hope this does not cause problems. Rick (4/3/2005)
Question:
Do you still need the trailer hauled (4/11/2005)
Response:
Yes. If you can't go to Maimi, can you bring it to Jenning Florida? Let me know ASAP. Thanks (4/11/2005)
Question:
I can take the trailer as far as Sorrento, FL (Orlando area) with delivery on the 27th. Is this an acceptable time frame? (4/13/2005)
Response:
That would be great. Can you do it for what I quoted? I am new to this service. What would we do next? I will be meeting you in the orlando area on the 27th. (4/13/2005)
Question:
Yes, I might be able to do this for your target price. Does it matter when I pick it up? Shawn (4/13/2005)
Response:
You'll need to have a trailer hitch light plug ( 3/4", female, 4 prongs) and a ball that is 2". 27th is a good day, would it be Serasota??? I think you will need to make an official bid next. I have not used this service before? Need to know for sure because I will have to make plans to meet you. Get back to me. (4/13/2005)
Question:
There is another listing on the same day, going to the same place. It is a packaging machine. Is this yours too? (4/14/2005)
Response:
No. Can you make an official bid so I can decide if you can do this? Thanks, Peter (4/14/2005)
Question:
Hi Peter, I wrote back to you earlier, but it doesn't look like it went through. I have a pick up in Sorrento, FL (thats about 28 miles north of Orlando), on 4/27/05. If I make an official bid, and you accept it, then Uship/Ubid binds us to that bid. They will then charge me 7.9% of the amount we agree on. I wish that I could meet with you or talk to you personally before you accept my bid, but according to my agreement with Uship, if I give you any personal info before the bid is accepted, I could lose my account with Uship. I will answer your questions the best I can though. I believe that I can do this for $400, would this be a good price for you? Shawn (4/14/2005)
Response:
I will plan on meeting you in Sorrento on the 27th. I am not sure what to do next. I want to accept your bid but I am not sure if just answering you means I accepted your bid. Thank You, Peter (4/14/2005)
Question:
No, you can write back to me anytime. There is another place that you click on to accept the bid. Are there any questions that you have for me that might make your decision easier? Shawn (4/17/2005)
Response:
I have not seen where I accept your bid. I will keep looking and I will accept. I assume at that time I will be able to get in touch with you direct then. Thanks Peter (4/17/2005)
Question:
Yes, once you accept the bid, you can get in touch with me almost immediately, they will give you all of my info. I have a different screen than you, so I don't know exactly where it is located (acceptin a bid). When I put in a bid, its at the bottom of my page, maybe its the same when someone accepts one. Shawn (4/18/2005)
