Questions for this shipment:

Question: I will be coming back from Montana in September and could easliy bring the sheep. Just let me know it will be around the 2nd week of September. Thanks Jill (7/21/2008)
Response: I have tried to make it clear that there are more than 5 sheep. I'm hoping that the wt will give everyone a clue. There will be about 25 head of shetlands, Maybe 30, depending on how many i sell before I leave for CA. What would you want for the trip? Do you feed them along the way(probably a stupid question), but I had to ask. Most of these sheep have made this trip with me hauling double trips a couple times over. and the ones that have done it are real troupers about it. Your timing would be great! just let me know about costs. thank you! (7/21/2008)
Response: I do feed and water. I think that they would fit in a 5/6horse trailer and I would hope they all make it. I guess cost wise you would be taking the whole trailer so maybe about 1500 or so I would have to really check miles. Thats is you think that they will fit. I will be also heading home from Montana on another trip in August too. JIll (7/22/2008)
Response: Jill- I think they would be just fine. when I moved over here from helmville, we had 22 ewes,20 plus lambs 4 large rams, and 5 llamas in an 18 foot trailer, and they all fit with room to spare. September would work fine. I still have to buy a place for them to go to. I will be leaving them with a dependable friend in reed point, just northwest of where I am. According to uship, traveling via their route, it is 1,275 miles. but then I may end up one hour either side of redding. so your guestimate on cost works for me. How much do you charge per mile? (7/22/2008)
Response: Since I cannot take anything else I will charge the 1500.00 to cover all expenses if that works. I usually charge about 65-70cents a mile per horse but I think that the sheep might need all the space. Thank Jill (7/22/2008)
Response: Jill - That works for me. I've made the trip myself enough times to know what the expenses are. So how do we proceed from here? (7/22/2008)
Response: I will place the bid and you accept then they give you my #. I am very open on dates so we can figure what works best for you and I. Thanks JIll (7/23/2008)
