Question: While price is important, there are other considerations before choosing a carrier. Insurance: We have $1.25 million in all risk cargo coverage. Safety: Check our Federal DOT safety rating by clicking on our DOT number. Our safety rating is much better than the national average. Experience: Our second-generation company has been in business for 55 years, hauling nothing but boats from coast to coast, in Canada, and to all ports in the US. We have hauled for nearly every major boat manufacturer in the US, both power and sail, we are a major carrier for the New York and Miami Boat Shows, and we are an authorized carrier for the US military. Equipment: We have 50 trucks/200 trailers. Drivers: Our drivers meet all Federal DOT qualification standards and have extensive boat hauling experience. All of these factors are very important when it comes to moving your boat. (10/27/2009)

Question: Hi Shipper, are you still looking to have your boat transported, if so, please check out our profile on this site and let us know, Thanks, Ron (10/30/2009)

Response: Hinda, have some quotes to ananyize and make a dicision, as its getting colder up there. Bridge is off, everything is down around 10 feet. Waiting for a good qualified bid , boats ready NOW. (10/30/2009)

Response: Thank You William for your prompt reply. We will be submitting a bid shortly. Is the bridge and mast secured to the boat for transport or do you need to have it loaded on the trailer as well? Thanks again, Ron (10/30/2009)

Question: By the way William, we would be transporting your boat on a hydraulic trailer, so unloading at the stroage facility would not be a problem. As soon as we hear back about whether or not the bridge has been secured to the boat for transport, or whether it has to be loaded and secured to the truck or trailer, we will submit a bid. Best Reagrds, Ron (11/2/2009)

Response: Hi, Can you pick up and deliver the boat hydraulically? (no travel lift) The boat is reagy, the mast is lowered and overhangs 4-5 behind the stern, is that ok?
The price is 3500$ right.
Please let me know, the boat is ready to go now.
Thanks (11/2/2009)

Response: Hi Shipper, we appreciate your response, but we have not submitted a bid or mentioned a price, we have been waiting for you to let us know if the bridge has been secured to the deck or some other suitable place on the boat for transport or if you need to have it loaded on our truck or trailer. As to price, our bid would not be 3500.00 for a 1500+ mile transport with a wide load where we had to load and unload ourselves. Our bid would be closer to $4300.00 if we load and unload, provided the bridge is secured to the boat prior to our arrival to load the boat and the mast could not extend behind the stern 4 or 5 feet, 2' would be the max. What is the total draft of your boat? Thanks, Ron (11/2/2009)
