Question: how soon can it be picked up? are you taking care of the loading and unloading off my bunk trailer? (11/3/2009)

Response: It now loks like the boat can be picked up on Thursday, 11/12 in St. Pete. It is currently on a private lift on Causeway Blvd and needs to somehow get to a ramp or lift in the area to get loaded.
It has to be at the New Orleans marina no later than 11:0am on Friday 11/13 (11/5/2009)

Response: sorry I was needing to do it sooner (11/5/2009)

Response: The latest is that the boat can be picked up on Thursday, 11/12 (or maybe even Wednesday)and delivered on Friday (before 11:00am) to the New Orleans marina.

Response: unless it can be picked up 11/6 I cant do it sorry (11/5/2009)

Question: Hi, Do you still need transport? I see your online? Thanks, Greg (11/5/2009)

Response: Yes, next week on your trailer. Will it fit the formalu 33'?
Trying to purchase Monday/Tuesday so you can pick up Tuesday and deliver Wednesday, only 675 miles. Can you do that? (11/5/2009)

Response: We have a tri axle 18,000 gvw trailer its set up for up to a 38ft boat. It will fit perfect. Can we transport on the 16th? We are located up the street from the boat about 40 min. Will this time frame work for you? Thanks, Greg (11/5/2009)

Response: No, I need the boat at the Marina in New Orleans on Friday before 11:00am. So you can pick it up on Thursday in St. Pete.
Currently the boat is on a private lift on Causeway Blvd so I will need to somehow get the boat to a ramp? or somewhere so you can get it on your trailer. The current owner nor i will be there so I need your help moving the boat and loading it. (11/5/2009)

Response: We can pick up the boat 1st thing on Thur. My partner and I both have US Coast Guard Captain License 100 ton. I personally own a 35ft Marlin so we would have no problem with the lift or the trip to the boat ramp. Just a few questions. Is the lift in working condition with the power on? Is the boat in running condition with charged batteries? Dont want to show up and have any problems. Thanks again, Greg (11/5/2009)

Response: Full story:
I am going to St.Pete this Saturday and on Sunday morning I am inpsecting the boat with my inspector. If I like it I buy it Monday and get my papers Wednesday. So boat will be able to leave Thursday morning but it has to be in New Orleans 11:00am Friday and there will be a forklift to offload.
Since the current owner and I will not be in St. Pete on Thursday and the boat is on his lift it needs to get to a lift or ramp or I make some arrangements this weekend to have the owner put it in a marina before he goes out of town or I get you to move it. 2006 Formula 33 SS in great shape and just serviced.

Response: Are you going to hold off until you are sure of the purchase before booking a transport company? (11/5/2009)

Response: I want to go forward as I am 95% sure I will make the purchase. (11/5/2009)

Response: Sounds good. We can pick the boat up on Thur. 11-12 and have it to you the next morning 11-13. Our cost would be $1999. If this is acceptable we will place a formal bid. Please let me know one way or another. Thanks, Greg (11/5/2009)

Response: I'm getting a little confused here. I thought you already posted the $1633 bid? (11/5/2009)

Response: No we have not placed a formal bid. That is another company. Not sure of his availability for next Thur. Also if you look at his bid he charges an additional $75 for putting the trailer in the water we don't. Click on our name capthotshot and you will see our profile. Please get back with me. Greg (11/5/2009)

Response: $2000 is too much, can you do it for $1800?
Can I get your trailer earlier in the week to load the boat so it is ready to go on Thursday? (11/5/2009)

Response: Can we get the boat loaded on Wed ? (11/5/2009)

Response: Maybe, I need to get down there and talk to the owner and see when he is available to assist. (11/5/2009)

Response: We can meet your time schedule even if we have to pick it up on Thur morning. No problem. Would you be willing to pay $1850? (11/5/2009)

Response: You're driving a hard bargain but if you work with me then ok! (11/5/2009)

Response: Yes we will certainly work with you. We will get the loading figured out and have it to you Fri morning. I will place the formal bid. Please accept and we will call you and work out all the fine details. Greg (11/5/2009)

Response: Once I accept what happens? I pay something to someone? What is all fails (not likely but could) what is my $ liability? (11/5/2009)

Response: Everything is refundable. You don't pat US any money until we deliver the boat. If the deal falls through you file for a refund and we receive a cancel on our record. We will take the chance but you have nothing to loose (11/5/2009)

Question: Any plans? Do you still want to get this booked? I have to leave the office shortly to load a boat. Greg (11/5/2009)

Response: I will book today...what if the owner is leaving Monday but can move the boat to a ramp. Can you meet him and load up then? He may then still want you to leave the loaded trailer at his house until my papers clear. Would this be possible? I am just trying to thnk of some options since I will not be there to load up. (11/5/2009)

Response: We are using the trailer on Mon. and Tue. We can meet him on Wed. We can also lower the boat off the lift and bring it to the ramp without his help. Another option may be to have him bring it to the Marina before he leaves and we can pick it up there. What do you think? I know its hard to communicate with questions and answers but its the only way allowed. I see you tried to send your phone number in numeric form to another person and they blocked it. (11/5/2009)

Response: Yes, got a 'red flag'!
If Wednesday does not work for him then I will see if he can leave it in a marina until you can pick it up on Wednesday. Maybe where he just got it serviced.
(11/5/2009)

Response: I would think the Marina would hold it for him especially when he has a prior relationship with them. We will do what we need to do to make this work. If you accept the bid we will receive each others contact info. It will be much easier to come up with a game plan that way. What do you think (11/5/2009)
