Response: the boat is in the water now and will be pulled at a shipyard in Ballard to be winterized and they can pick it up with straps and you can back straight under it. Haul anytime after 11-09-09 [contact info removed] (11/1/2009)

Response: All quotes I've rec'd so far haven't mentioned anything about height restrictions. The boat will fit under all bridges. The boat will be shrink wrapped. All other quotes have had no problem with height. (11/4/2009)

Response: I would suggest you call the manufacturer. They ship them with the arch down. Maybe your other bids have not hauled this model & or don't plan on hauling it legally. Thank you dave (11/4/2009)

Question: The comment above regarding the height of your boat is correct. Your boat has a bridge clearance of 10' and with a draft of 35",it would but your boat at 13' from keel to top of arch. With your boat loaded on a trailer, it would be considerably higher than the 13'6" max. You might want to check to see if the bidder you are communicating with knows this and plans to obtain permits for this load. Also, transporter Must have both an 'active' USDOT and MC# to cross state lines. If you take a look at the bids and click on each profile you will notice that everyone that has USDOT and MC#'s are about the same price, while the low bidders do not have these required numbers (reason, there so much lower). Just a heads up, would hate to have your boat impounded and then you have to find another legal hauler to fix everything. $1.20/mile for a boat that is 11' hardly covers the costs of fuel and permits. Formula's aren't the cheapest boat and there's reasons for that, same goes for transporters. (11/5/2009)
