Questions for this shipment:

Question: Do you have loading docks on base, can this be loaded on a 53ft dry van? If so, let me know, I know the weight is no problem. Can pick up Sat.or Mon. Thanks. (9/21/2006)
Response: The site manager specifically asked that I send a flat bed, not a van. They do not have a loading dock, but do have a ramp. He said that some of the pallets are so heavy that they have trouble loading vans with this commodity. Wayne (9/22/2006)
Question: I just noticed, It says no loading docks, I guess you have a forklift, Do you think a pallet jack in the trailer is capable of moving pallets? Thanks (9/21/2006)
Response: some of the pallets look to be six feet long or more and the site manage said some of the pallet will be 5000 pounds or more. On this load a van is not going to be useable. Thanks for responding. Wayne (9/22/2006)
Question: hello we run a 48' trailer and can do this move for you.. can you tell how many pallets there are to lift??? (9/22/2006)
Response: The site manager specifically requested some kind of flat bed and not a van. I hope you have a flatbed. There appears to be 10 pallets, but I cannot tell for sure from the pictures. The site manager tells me that some of the pallets may weigh over 5000 pounds. They will load the pallets onto the truck under the driver's direction. Let me know if this is a fit for you. Wayne (9/22/2006)
Question: What are the dimensions of this load? And is the weight correct at 5000 lbs? Thanks, RodL (9/22/2006)
Response: I do not know the dimensions, but the tank track is banded to about 10 pallets. Some of the pallets are said to weigh 5000 pounds or more, however, the total load is about 34,000 pounds of product plus the weight of the pallets. Wayne (9/22/2006)
Question: ok, when i said a 48' trailer i am talking about a semi trailer.. and as i understand it loading and unloading is provided?? (9/22/2006)
Response: As a former over the road driver, I understood it to be a semi trailer, but is it some form of a flat bed? Wayne (9/22/2006)
Question: Good morning I understand i had to make sure it was clear so thanks for acknowledging your awareness. It is a 48' enclosed trailer w/ a liftgate. If this will not work then I wish you luck in your move. (9/23/2006)
Response: thanks for your interest. Maybe next time. Wayne (9/24/2006)
Question: Hello i have a 06 duramax dully and 30ft flatbed trailer. If your pallets weigh between 3500 and 5000 per pallet i cannot haul them all. I can haul about 18000lbs and that's it. If you can split up your load then i can haul 18000lbs for $900. I am coming to Florida tomorrow, so i will need to know asap whether you accept or not. Please answer fast. Thanks, Robert. (9/25/2006)
Response: Thanks for responding. I have often wondered what the payload is on a rig like that is. I currently have a price of $1651.00 for the whole load. I will not be able to use you this time. Wayne (9/26/2006)
Question: Hello Wayne, can we split the difference and me take half the load for half that price, and haul it for $826. Love to do business with you, Thanks, Robert. (9/26/2006)
Response: Is there any chance that you can pick up the other half of the load? If so, by what date? (9/26/2006)
Question: Very possible, but it would be a couple of weeks. (9/26/2006)
Response: I need to have it all removed before then. I will have to keep looking for a carrier. Thanks for responding. Wayne (9/26/2006)
Question: Ok, i will commit to doing this one this week and the other one next week. Both for the $1651. If you agree i will make bid so you can accept. Thanks, Robert. (9/26/2006)
Response: I could live with that, but what assurance do I have that you will pick up the last half of the load? Wayne (9/26/2006)
Question: I am a man of my word. I have to make another trip to florida next week, and i don't have anything on return yet, so your load will be the return load. I will put in a formal bid. Please accept and call me as soon as the uship goes through so we can discuss addresses and get phone numbers. Thanks, Robert. (9/26/2006)
Response: You want it. You got it. It will be tomorrow morning before I get the necessary telephone calls and paper work done. You will need a photo driver's license, truck registration, and proof of insurance to get on base. I will contact you latter, I have to go to work now. Wayne (9/26/2006)
