Question: I live in PG and have an enclosed trailer that will accomodate your items. Fuel costs are the issue though. I would need 2 bucks a mile for this transport. Click on my name to check my profile and let me know if I should save the room. Thanks! (6/7/2008)

Response: Can you do the delivery in Canada as well as the one in Washington? If so, sending two shipments at once might make it worth the cost you quoted. (6/8/2008)

Response: I can only get to the border, as I am not set up to cross it. I would be interested in taking up the two loads you have to Or and Wa then bringing back the other return load you have. I would need the same rate both ways. I am just not 100 % sure I can fit both shipments going up. My trailer is 8x24x6 V-nose, and I could put some rolls on the roof it they can hadle the wind, with some protection. Let me know your thoughts! (6/8/2008)

Response: Both shipments will fit, although a couple smaller parts might need to go on top. As long as they are tied down well, the wind is no problem. It can go right through them as they are hollow, so extra drag probably won't be a major problem. (6/11/2008)

Response: Just checking in for an update. Anything concrete yet? (6/13/2008)

Response: not yet, but I do have a very nice quote going to Canada, and I think they could drop this one on the way for $500 extra, which would be very good if it will fit both towers into their trailer. Working on that now to see if we can fit both in okay. (6/13/2008)

Response: I quoted you that figure based on doing two different shipments at the same time, which is a a real bargain!! I keep asking about the Or run, but dont know if its still in the making? If you want me to do both these runs, I would need to go Mon or tues at the latest. Let me know on those 2 and I guess I will bag the other load you want Fed Ex to do. Hope you get satisfaction from them and not get put in their delayed mode! Be in touch! (6/21/2008)

Response: We are going to ship out the Oregon run on Monday or Tuesday. Best bid so far is $1100 for the run, off of the uShip system. Best bid on the return shipment was Fedex. Already picked up by them on that one.
We have shipped with Fedex a lot, and have rarely had problems. I did not check with them on this one at first, as I was thinking that uShip would be cheaper, since uShip was about 70% of Fedex rates on some tower parts we had shipped to Chicago recently. But, I guess Fedex freight is better for small shipments. (6/21/2008)

Response: I cant locate the Or load unless you have already let it out to someone else? My plan was to do both of the NW drops to Or and Vancouver using your trailer along with mine to save you alot of money. I think it was around 1600-1700 for both drops. If your at 1100 for the one and 1300 for the other, what could you do with the 700 bucks I would save you??? (6/21/2008)

Response: $212 via Fedex for the one already sent to Utah.
$1100 for the load from Lindon to Vancover, Wash.
$2650 for delivery through to Dawson Creek Canada on the third one. Had looked at taking it to Dayton and then shipping via a company used to crossing the border from Dayton, Washington, but cheaper just to ship it all the way from Lindon to BC Canada instead of having two carriers handle it. (6/21/2008)

Response: So what is it you are telling me. Do you want me to take 2 loads from Lindon to Or and Wa or do you have this all handled? I am taking some 2 wheelers on my flatbed of my truck to Jerome, Id on Monday sometime, and was considering taking my trailer and yours with both loads, so if thats doable, lets get things rolling. (6/21/2008)

Question: Also, does the weight of 2400 lbs include all the steel parts in boxes? (6/9/2008)

Response: Yes (6/11/2008)

Response: Ok, I found it again. What about the Oregon load? We already discussed the fees, right? (6/18/2008)

Response: Yes, and your rate per mile is higher than others. (6/20/2008)

Question: Will these fit in an 24 ft enclosed trailer? (6/11/2008)

Response: Definitely yes. They are 18 foot long. Diameter is 2 foot x 2 foot for each part, so 5 of them will easily fit. The boxes and steel parts that go with the tower parts are small, and will fit in a 2 foot deep space, so the entire tower easily fits into a 20 foot truck or trailer or flatbed. (6/11/2008)

Question: Are there exact or specific dates that you need these shipped to Vancouver? Can two people load these by hand? I have a 24' enclosed box truck that will have less than 6' of items in it. I'll probably be in the pick-up area July 1-2. I'd be able to get you a very good rate. Let me know how this sounds. Thanks, Rob fezziwigwhse (6/13/2008)

Response: I will have to check with my customer on the other end, but there is a good chance this will work.
Please let me know:
1. Your price if this works (not necessarily a quote formally, but at least an estimate as a message)?
2. When you would deliver if picking up on July 1? (6/13/2008)

Response: I was thinking around $1100 for the price. If I pick up July 1, I'd deliver July 2-4. Rob, fezziwigwhse (6/15/2008)

Response: see other answer. sorry for the delay in getting back to you. (6/18/2008)

Question: Did you check with the customer about the pick-up date of July 1-2? $1100 is pretty firm, I need to check with one other partial load though. Thanks, Rob fezziwigwhse (6/17/2008)

Response: The customer does not want to wait that long, so I would have to decline this offer. However, I do like the price. Sorry it did not work this time. (6/18/2008)

Response: What's the latest date they want to receive the shipment? Thanks, Rob fezziwigwhse (6/18/2008)

Response: June 25th for the Seattle shipment.
July 2nd for the shipment to Canada. (6/20/2008)
