Questions for this shipment:

Question: How high can they be stacked? 4 side by side and ?? high? Just trying to figure out how much trailer space all together the load will take so I can place an accurate bid. Thanks! (10/20/2008)
Response: They can be stacked easily in three rows of 2 feet width each, with tower parts above in three rows tall. Although there are ten parts, some of the parts are smaller than 2 foot diameter, so they will be able to fit in a stack that is about 76" wide and 80" tall on a flat trailer or in an enclosed trailer. The metal parts are in addition to above dimensions, but these can fit into small spaces and will easily go in the space of a pickup truck bed without going higher than the sides of the truck bed. (10/20/2008)
Response: So what do you feel is the overall length and height of the load? (10/20/2008)
Response: 72" wide x 80" tall x 18 feet long. (10/20/2008)
Response: Placing bid - thank you (10/20/2008)
Question: Thanks for the bid request but I am on R&R during the service dates you are requesting. (10/20/2008)
Response: thanks (10/20/2008)
Question: i have flatbeds daily in the area you are looking for. you still need this moved? (10/20/2008)
Response: yes. (10/20/2008)
Response: do you need a full 48 foot flat (10/20/2008)
Response: No. 18 foot long is all we need for the tower parts, and the metal parts do not take up much space. About 72" wide, 80" tall, and 20 feet long is plenty. Any more can be used for something else. (10/20/2008)
Question: we can load tomarro the 21st or any day. Daily-Bulldog (10/20/2008)
Response: that sounds good. I will review bids tomorrow and will get back to you quickly if your bid is reasonable. (10/20/2008)
Response: ty for you quick response. let me know if i can be of any help- (10/20/2008)
Response: Will do. thanks for your quick bid. Anything over $1720.00 shipping will be paid by our company. We probably estimated low in shipping quote to the customer, but it was a firm estimate and I can't change that now. Thus, there will be some internal discussion and review required if cost is over $1720 for the shipment. That is not all bad, as our quotation team does need to come up on their shipping cost estimates, but it still means that our approval is not as fast if the quote is over $1720 total shipment cost. (10/20/2008)
Question: sir i have a flatbeds that can load this anytime this week? am i close to where you need to be?-Bulldog (10/20/2008)
Response: The quote seems on the high side to me. However, I will not reject it, but I am not ready to accept it without waiting to see if something lower cost comes up as an option. I am going to add a "ship it now price" on to the request to give you an idea of the price I would like to get for this shipment. (10/20/2008)
