Additional Information: this is a centurion exercise machine,8ft tall x 38"x 44" and has wheels on one side that can be moved by one man,- the weights.It comes w/attachments & weights

Question: CAN THIS BE LAID DOWN ON ITS SIDE, HOW MUCH DOES THIS UNIT WEIGH?? (11/6/2009)

Response: Yes it can, it is a rectangle in shape unit with cable weights on all 4 sides that need to be removed to lighten the frame (which 4 sides are used to exercise from,like the units in highschool or YMCA).It has 2 wheels attached to the one side of the bottom so when tipped the wheels would take over the transporting. There is about 1000lbs of weights and attachments in total, and the frame unit w/wheels is about 300lbs. (11/6/2009)
