I live about 20 miles south of you. I have a work shop for crating. Are you serious and what kind of a budget are you looking at for this item ? Enclosed trailer in a week or two ? Thanks Gary Report a Violation
Response: This is the response I received from the manufacturer of the tub currently installed in the IL home: The Safety Tub can be removed, but just like anything else….CAREFULLY. Very carefully, if tiled. Ship to a “freight forwarder” in Seattle or Portland to forward to Alaska. Use wood crating $200 + forwarding should be around $900.00. I know they exist, but I don’t KNOW any for referrals. I hope this helps. Steve Hall So, basically from this, I'm expecting to accomplish shipment for somewhere around $1100.00. A fee to have the tub removed for crating will also come into play. I'm assuming that you offer an insurance fee, as this tub is valued @ $6000.00. I live in Alaska and would need advance time to have it removed and ready for packing. Thank you.3/23/2009Report a Violation
Response: : Ok......I am thinking. I live 20 miles south of Gibson City. We are General Contractors ( I remodel Post Offices and have done so at Gibson )so I have talent and manpower, ie gencon1. I hate to get into writing war and peace on this, but we do not have to repair the portions exposed after the removal ? Correct?...... OR is the seller " removing the unit " for you as part of the deal ? Yes I have insurance and no " it " would not you cost anything. I want to drive up there soon, so let me do some " thunkin " on this. Thanks Gary May 3/23/2009Report a Violation

Hi. I can do this for $1100 around the 2nd or 3rd week in May. Please explain what you are needing me to do. Will it already be packaged at pick up or do we need to remove and package? Thanks. MelindaReport a Violation
Response: Melinda, Would love to take you up on your offer. The tub is currently installed in the home, but I could have someone in the vacinity disconnect and have it accessible for packing and crating. If this adds a bit of cost onto the project, that's okay, as I had planned on compensating whomever packed it for shipping. Just give me a very close estimate to the total fee prior to the transport so that I can know what to expect. I look forward to hearing back from you. The time frame you are working within is perfect for my needs and necessity of coordination. Thank You. 3/29/2009Report a Violation
Response: : Hi. Be glad to help you. Please have somebody remove the tub from where it's hooked up. At pick up we will package it very safe and securely for transport. God Bless :-) Melinda3/31/2009Report a Violation
