Freight Listing Information
Additional Information: crated vehicle with forklift areas on front and sides. Prefer enclosed truck but if tarped it could go on an open flat bed. Biggest concern is that the ride is not too rough as it is tough on the vehicle inside. Report a Violation

Questions for this shipment:

Question: Are you looking to go enclosed van? (3/24/2008)
Response: Eclosed is prefered, but tarped on a flatbed is fine. We are mostly concerned that the ride is not too rough as it is tough on the vehicle inside. Thanks Todd (3/24/2008)
Question: I will be unloading in los Angeles on 8/17-18. I am driving 24ft enclosed truck. Let me know if you wil lbe ready by then. (8/13/2008)
Response: Crate will be ready. Todd (8/13/2008)
Response: How will customs be handled? Do you have a broker? Does this vehicle has a title with Vin Number? If it does it has to be faxed 72 business hours ahead. The weekend does not count. (8/13/2008)
Response: We have a broker and all papers are already in order(title, VIN, TIB, DOT, etc.). Shipment can come over the border anytime. The only thing that has to be done is have the TIB cancelled before entering Canada. (8/13/2008)
Response: I missed earlier that the width of your crate is 89" which is exactly the interior width of the 24ft Budget truck I use. If the measurements exact then I bid. On 16’ I need at least 3” of play, if it is not there I will have to pass. I was planning to roll your crate to the back on several dollies and then immobilized them with 2x4 screwed to the wood decking. I could be ready to load you, Monday 8/18 and head to Vancouver. Please let me know what you think. Thanks. (8/14/2008)
Response: I think it may be a bit less than 89", but will double check the dimensions to be sure. I will have the numbers on Monday morning and will contact you then. Your loading and securing system should work fine. We will need to know what kind of insurance you carry as well. Cheers, Todd (8/16/2008)
Response: This truck is bigger than previous ones. The door width is 91" and the inside 96.5” . My insurance will not cover your vehicle but you could get it thru Uship. I could load Monday and deliver in 3 days. I am empty and ready to head to WA. Tell your broker that I have my own PAR labels. My bid would be under $2000. (8/18/2008)
Response: 193”long x 81”wide x 62”high. I have a bid now that is $1800 with insurance included. (8/18/2008)
Response: I believe the low bid is offering an open trailer. I will worry about their cancellation record 102 out of 300 matches is quite steep. I am offering an enclosed truck protected from the rain and road dust that may find its way in at such speed. I can match their bid if I can load you today. I have things to do in WA before heading for Edmonton where I must load on 8/29. Please let me know and I will posta bid. (8/18/2008)
Response: Thanks. I am a little concerned about the cancellations too. I need $150,000 in insurance and cannot figure out how to do it on upship. The other carrier had $150,000 of coverage already. We can load today if the insureance thing gets figured out. (8/18/2008)
Response: I asked my son and he thinks that it is like when you win a bid in ebay that then they offer you a chance to buy insurance. I am going to post a bid and by then you may have figured out how uship insurance works. I plan to go directly to BC and then get back to WA before heading to Edmonton. (8/18/2008)
Response: I just talked to the warehouse and they are doing filming for some strange reason at 4:00 today. Can you be there before then? Kind of short notice I realize. (8/18/2008)
Response: Yes I could. (8/18/2008)
Response: I am going to have to get some advice on this whole insurance thing. Your history of comments is excellent but I need to be assured that my vehicle will be shipped properly and insured properly. This means that the crate will probably not be able to be picked up today. Any more info from your side would be appreciated. Thanks for your patience. (8/18/2008)
Response: I am taking my 30 hours rest but I do need to get going tomorrow morning. I been hauling some very delicate equipment and antiques I have had no claims. I am willing to contribute $150 towards the uship insurance. That is the best I can do at the moment. (8/18/2008)
Question: My bid is for a LEGAL transport. I post my Authority and offer CARGO COVERAGE, at no charge, which is mandated by the Federal Government for LEGAL CARRIERS. Carriers who are not legal and who transport for hire can be stopped by the Authorities and their cargo conficated. My cancellations are not all my doing, often Shippers find a friend or family member who will transport for much less. I am a professional not someone looking to put your cargo in danger of being jepordized. I would have appreciated it if you would have contacted me directly with concerns rather than discuss my business with another carrier on this site. I am also a Canadian Preferred Carrier with a 5 Star Rating........I'll save you the trouble and cancel my bid, good luck with your "illegal carrier".......since he wants you to purchase the insurance he should be providing, under the law, maybe you can pay for his "budget" rental truck also. (8/18/2008)
Response: I appreciate your comments and didn't mean to offend you. Your cancellations are public knowledge so I didn't think I needed to talk to you about something you and everyone else were aware of. Don't do a lot of shipping so this is fairly new to me. It looks myu warehouse might not be able to get the box out today so don't give up yet. (8/18/2008)
