Question: Are you preferring the entire outfit be carried on a trailer or towed? I can do either one but if I carry her I would need a lift at both ends. To carry I would charge 2900.00 and to tow her on her own trailer I would do 2500.00. The quickest I could do her would be in about ten days. (5/8/2008)

Response: Thanks!
i apreciate your response. it is actually located in powell river, BC (the website doesn't allow for this zip.
i can go either way with trailer or tow.. (5/8/2008)

Response: If we can get her to the US side I will take her at the border and do the the tow figure since it is cheaper for you and less labor intensive for 2500.00 if we can get her booked in. Besides my load coming back from the east is getting towed as well so it will save me from having to store my trailer out there. I will enter my bid for you. (5/8/2008)

Response: can't get it us (5/10/2008)

Question: Hello, I am very interested in your shipment. I could pick it up next week and deliver shortly thereafter. I would be transporting it on a boat/trailer hauler trailer. My price would be $1700.00 which includes full value insurance. Check out my feedback. Let me know asap if this would work for you(as space fills up quickly) and I will place my formal bid at your direction. Thank you, Kurt from Summit Transport LLC (5/8/2008)

Response: thanks!
just to make sure, it is a pick-up in powell river, bc. (u-ship couldn't allow for that input).
when you say shortly thereafter, what does that mean?? (5/8/2008)

Response: Shortly thereafter means a reasonable amount of time to get it across the country. About a week. My quote is for picking it up at the border. Could this be arranged? Let me know, Kurt from Summit Transport LLC (5/8/2008)

Response: i don't think so. how much to pick-up in bc? (5/8/2008)

Response: It is possible. How many miles past the border is the pick up? My rate would be $1.00/mile total. Let me know as soon as possible so I can make the arrangements. Thank you, Kurt from Summit Transport LLC (5/8/2008)

Response: 125 miles (5/8/2008)

Response: 125 miles each way, for a total of 250. How do you feel about a rate of $2000.00 total? Thanks again, Kurt from Summit Transport LLC (5/8/2008)

Response: i feel moderately fair about it. can you do a little better?
just found out the the paypal payment won't clear till this monday or tuesday. (5/8/2008)

Response: ok, $2k is fine (5/9/2008)

Response: If you could go 2400.00 I can make this happen. I will place my bid and if you accept it please call me ASAP to work out the details as I would be in BC on the 15th and would like to get this handled. I will handle all paperwork and deal with the customs issues that will be necessary for entry. Please let me know ASAP as I would have to get busy on the paperwork. Thank you, Kurt from Summit Transport LLC. (5/10/2008)

Question: Hello shipper, Scott J. here my service provider name is debcott. Check out my profile. Not meaning to add to your stress, but are you aware that in order to retrieve your boat whoever does this will have to take a couple of BOAT RIDES themselves. The road you have to take in BC crosses two bays, One at Horseshoe Bay the other at Earls Cove both of which may require an Appointment and additional fees, because you have to go there and back at both crossings. I will be in Canada next week and would have to bobtail approx. 700 miles one way to get to the boat, but this can be done. Plus after all that we still have to make arrangements with customs at the border, which we can make this happen also. If all this makes sense to you let me know and I will place an all inclusive bid covering everything to get your boat to NJ. Rest assured I will be as fair as I possibly can. Thanks for the opportunity Scott J. (5/17/2008)

Response: i know. its a mess, (5/19/2008)

Response: Hello shipper, Do you have any idea what you are going to do with this shipment. I am currently working on another trip out west and would be interested in helping you. Now I know this is not going to be easy as I stated before, but I may be able to help. This is also not going to be cheap. I will be as reasonable as possible. If you want me to check on what it is going to take to get this stateside for you I will, but we will have to agree on a price, and you will have to accept a bid. This is not an impossible task. Thank you for your time. PLEASE RESPOND!!!! Scott J. @ debcott a division of Star Fleet. (5/19/2008)
