Response: Thank you. It's a couch in two professionally packed boxes at West Elm in DC. The boxes weigh 137lbs and have to be delivered to a full service building in lower manhattan with a service elevator. I just need to know if you are bonded, and if you offer insurance. (1/5/2009)

Response: You’re in safe hands, lol. First thing I would recommend would be to check out the service providers profile to see what comments and ratings their previous customers have given them. (I'm very proud of my 100% positive feedback and intend to keep it that way.) Secondly i would request signed documentation of the load. I have mobile broadband internet and mobile fax in the cab for just such purposes. And lastly I would check out their "Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration" or FMCSA License to see if it’s currently active. I will provide a copy of my license and insurance accord upon request once you accept the bid and we can trade contact information and you can look me up on the FMCSA’s website.
