Question: who shall handle customs clearance? are you ready to ship now? (9/25/2008)
Response: I will have to hire a freight forwarder to do customs if you can´t arrange it, but I thought after reading your profile you may get a better shipping price, its ready to go. So far the best I can get from New York to UK is $10,500 via RORO, I also need a driver who knows what to do a port. I advertised last month just to road it to New York, the best price for that was $1700. I was told shipping was cheaper at Baltimore, so far the ones who have got back to me have been about the same and roading the boat to Baltimore I have been quoted $2900. Hope that helps. Question: Hello, That last reply sounds like a nice person....that doesn't have a clue what they are talking about! US customs clearence is included in by bid, pier charges, ocean, any documentation fees in the US, and fuel. Thank you (9/26/2008)
