Questions for this shipment:

Question: I can take this with me down to San Deigo, I would need to know by Monday, May 19th is you need me to take this down for you. I will be pulling a 8'x16' covered cargo trailer. I am leaving to go to San Deigo on Wednesday, May 21st @ 5:00am. Thanks Doug (SLTRRCO) (5/9/2008)
Response: I think it needs to be picked up by friday the 16th, is your schedule flexible a little? (5/9/2008)
Response: I could pick-it up on late friday afternoon or saturday morning. It would have to late on friday because I am taking a car down to Cedar City. (5/9/2008)
Response: I don't control the pickup times I was given m-f from 9-4 it's not flexible unfortunately. I was looking for someone a little sooner. (5/9/2008)
Response: I could come and pick-it up on Monday Morning if they will let you do that. (5/9/2008)
Response: monday the 19th? (5/9/2008)
Response: Yes Monday the 19th (5/9/2008)
Response: I think the 19th is too alte. (5/10/2008)
Response: Thanks for you offer to move your items. (5/10/2008)
Response: Thanks for you offer to move your items. HUh>?? (5/10/2008)
Question: What is the value of all the goods so I can class this shipment corectly. Thanks (5/9/2008)
Response: class 92.5, value $19K (5/9/2008)
Question: Is the height dimension accurate, and includes the pallet? My enclosed trailer has any opening of 69" tall. if its accurate, can the pallet be eliminated and put on a dollie? Check my profile and let me know if we can figure out a way to make this work. Thanks! (5/9/2008)
Response: 78.7" without pallet (5/9/2008)
Response: Yikes, they are taller than your add listed? Can it be laid on its side with proper padding? (5/9/2008)
Response: At this point I would prefer not to.What day did you want to pickup and deliver, timing is everyhting (5/10/2008)
Response: I can do it Mon afternoon or Tues morn. It is possible to have it standing up once it clears the door if your original height is right. Or we could at least put it on a lean if that helps. Let me know. Thanks! (5/10/2008)
Response: You know it is more than just this one rack right? There are 3 pallets of 24cube boxes too, uship only lets me post one picture. (5/10/2008)
Response: OK, So there is only one large item, right? And what is the for sure height dimension? (5/10/2008)
Response: please look at the pictures of the items there are 4 and there is a arrow button so you can see all the items. the one server is boxed and is about 40X30X20. The misc boxes are two large pallets, then the three small desktops kevin (5/10/2008)
Response: That helped! So the 2nd picture shows numerous boxes, but you say there are just 3 of them, or how many? Either way, I will have the room inside my trailer. But we need to establish a fair price. What did you have in mind for a budget for these expensive items? (5/10/2008)
Response: No, let me clarify a little more for all the bidders. What you are bidding on moving is what is in the pictures. 1. a rack 2. all boxes pictured on two pallets 3. 3 computers 4. 1 server will be in a box (5/10/2008)
Response: I see. So do you have a count on the number of boxes. Its hard to tell from the pics, though they are helpful. Does pic #4 with the long container sitting on boxes. Do the boxes go as well? It appears to me that it will take up the majority of my trailer, and I will need to back out of the other load I was going to take to LA. My trailer is set up and designed for concert equipment, so your components will be well protected, and the torsion axels make for a smooth transport. (5/10/2008)
Response: what size is your trailer? the boxes should be 18, approx 20 lbs each at 24X24X18 approx. pic #4 is one server the size and dimensions are listed and are correct. (5/10/2008)
Response: My trailer is 8x20x6. I gather from your pics that all the components are not currently wrapped or boxed up. Will they be? And I will assume the longer boxes that #4 is laying on, is not part of the shipment, correct? I am confident I can handle all these computers and the other misc. But I cant take down the car I was going to transport, and do your shipment as well. I get a minimum of a grand when I use my trailer going to Cal. And I get between 1500-2000 coming back. Let me know if you want me to plan on Monday for pickup and Tues for delivery, and I will submit it that way. Take Care! (5/10/2008)
Response: not interested in those rates, can do it myself for less. Yes, the computer goes in the box in pic #4. (5/10/2008)
Response: Yes, you can do it cheaper by yourself. And if you can rent a truck that is designed for delicate transports, pay the fuel to LA for 300 bucks, you should do it. I cant get to LA with the price of diesel for that, let alone my time and wear and tare on my truck and trailer. You have 20 grand in value, and that alot of expensive merchandise to be responsible for! I cant take on that kind of stress, and not make a decent wage. Yesterday I delivered a piano valued at 4 grand. It went from SLC to South Jordan. 35 miles. I was paid 500 bucks! Because of my equipment and expertise. I offered you a fair rate for what you need done. And I would like to help you out with this delicate transport for a fair wage. Having said all this, I would like to know what is a price you would consider fair. Let me know and we'll go from there. Thanks! (5/11/2008)
Response: I was really looking for someone that could take my load and a few others from SLC to LA or around there. I didn't want to pay for a private carrier as it's not in the budget. Gas is $270 and 600 miles to me, you should look for some other freight coming down, and some going back. Probably by friday I will make a decision, I can do $600 tops as that is what it would cost me to go to SLC for the day. (5/11/2008)
Response: I agree. I have been doing just that. My return trip is full, but from here down to Cal is still in the process. As I mentioned, I already let one go, to make enough room for your load. And I wanted to make sure that whatever else I could find, wouldnt create an issue with your stuff. So, I will continue to try fill my load, and if I am able to find other items, I can do yours for that price and I would have to add the cost of this service to that, and we'll be good to go. Hopefully I can find other things, but because of the population difference, theres not alot leaving SLC-Cal but tons coming back. Wish me luck! Have a Great Week! (5/12/2008)
Response: make sure to post a bid on the item page (5/12/2008)
Response: OK, I will as soon as I can solidify the rest of my loads. But I cant wait till Fri. I need to pick up in the next couple days if thats okay. (5/12/2008)
Response: next couple days is ok, I need to call over and double check for an appointment too kevin (5/12/2008)
Response: I was hoping to go up this afternoon to load. Is that doable? (5/13/2008)
Response: I have to make an appointment, kevin (5/13/2008)
Response: I know how that goes. Could you set it up for early AM? Let me know, Thanks! (5/13/2008)
Response: yes, setup, need your name info for the release, it will be at the office you won't need anything. kevin (5/13/2008)
