Additional Information: china cabinet seperates into 2 parts for shipping. no moving or loading assistance available at either end. Item close to door and at ground level at source.. There are 4 steps up onto a porch and the door at destination = level with most truck beds. Can back up to door at destination and use ramp from truck to porch and door. Perfer bonded/insured mover.

Response: No stairs at pickup. 4 steps at deivery end, but if you have a ramp it will run right in front foor at delivery end. I have had lots of deliveries from moving trucks that just back up to the front door and wheel it right in. (10/7/2006)

Response: Yes, we still need this. We are flexible on the timing. The schedule on this end just changed a little bit, tho. Next week, (15-18 Nov) just got killed by my work schedule. Sunday the 19 is questionable. For me at the receiving end, the best day is all day Nov 22, (the day before Thanksgiving). The second best is any afternoon the weeks of 20 Nov-2 Dec, or all day on Dec 1-3. (11/10/2006)

Question: Couple hints. 1) A company can have 88 good feedback and still have 15 bad comments from people they ripped off so make sure you read all the feedback. 2) Don't respond to any question that says something like "I can do it on Tuesday for $200". It is rude of the shipping provider and not binding at all. uShip has a real bid process to protect you and the people who don't use it may end up cheating you. The shipping provider can specify the days in their bids if they are serious so their is no honest reason for them to use the questions feature for that. People who are honest and sincere about earning your business will spend the extra 5 minutes to submit a real bid and that protects you. (11/16/2006)
