Question: pick up today, delivery 2-3 days $600 (5/31/2008)

Response: there wasnt room to put in that there are twoo additional boxes that hav the beds (broken down) in them. One is a twin bed, the other is twin bunkbeds) so there are two dressers, a mirror, a small bookshelf, childs desk and chair, set of disassembled bunkbeds and twin bed. (5/31/2008)

Response: if we caan pick today $800 (5/31/2008)

Response: $650 and you can pick up today. You are the first bid. (5/31/2008)

Response: Can not do that low, I am already giving you a fair price with fuel $5.25 $770 is the best, let me know, as i have another bid pending and the truck is leaving California today (5/31/2008)

Response: it sounds fair, i am just struggling with the fact that I am paying more to ship the furniture that i paid for it...also, Im not sure how legit the quotesa are, but i did an online quote where they drop off a container and we fill it and unload, and they quoted $500 (5/31/2008)

Response: i understand, not sure about the containers, but the price they quote is usually basic, then Tax is on top and it comes to same $,just you have to load, unload . (5/31/2008)

Response: Well, it's certainly worth more to have someone pack it, although they cant charge tax, california doesnt allow tax on services, only goods. can you do it for $700? (5/31/2008)

Question: Hello, I am Chris from Oceans to Oceans. I operate a 24ft box truck and generally run the 10 and the 20. The reason you received the quote for $500 is because you were going to do all the packing and any damages due to movement and such were going to be on you. When you bid here we are the ones taking items out of your house, strapping inside of truck to avoid shifting and blanketing your items which must mean something to you or you wouldn't be paying more for shipping than they cost. I am not trying to disrespect you, just let you know more about the business. As for me I generally charge %50 up front and is usually ran through Pay Pal, which offers both of us protection. This also allows you time to come up with the other half. With the information provided by me and others, what is the amount you are willing to pay, and if you want a low amount what services are you willing to sacrifice? (example the container situation). Thank you. (5/31/2008)

Response: also, the furniture is worth a lot more than i paid for it... (5/31/2008)
