Question: Hi Shipper, we would like to submit a bid, but are you aware that to legally move your boat across state lines and not risk having it impounded, a transporter must have both a DOT Number as well as a Motor Carrier Number, (which U-Ship graciously provides every tranporter a place in their profile to post both) and that at 9 feet in width, oversize permits are required for every state traveled in. Permits and tolls are over $500.00. You have declined bids as out of price range that we could not match for a legal move, but if you reconsider your maximum and would like us to bid, Please let us know, thanks (8/30/2009)
