Questions for this shipment:

Question: Do you have a cost in mind ? (1/11/2007)
Response: I have two estimates for $1500 & $2300. Also, I originally had lined up different transportation for a 11 X 4 utility cart and a newer riding lawn mower, but am interested in adding this to the same shipment as the tractor. What is the proceedure that we need to take, do we need to list this as well on U-ship, or do you just include it from your side in the bid price? I understand that this is a change to the estimates I previously received on just the tractor itself. Thank you. (1/12/2007)
Question: I would imagine you would prefer to dhip all on one trailer which I do not have. If the price was right I could do this on our two trailers. Just a thought. We do excellent work as my feed back reflects. Thank you for your reply. Ron (1/11/2007)
Question: We are locared in Murrieta California and can transport all your equipment on one trailer. We have a 52ft air ride landoll trailer. We don't need a dock or ramps as we can drive right on to the trailer. We can't compete with illegal operations. They don't have the icc numbers or US Dot numbers that charge you for insurance that they are suppose to have etc...We are a legal licesned carrier for all 48 states. We carry one million dollars liability insurance and 150 k cargo insurance. If you are looking for cheap then the guys with pick up trucks and no authority to haul for hire are your cheap way.If you want professional carrier than wether it is my company or another makes sure they have the documentation to haul for hire or you risk losing your property, because the guy gets stopped or wrecks and has no authority to haul for hire.. (1/12/2007)
Response: Did you have a QUESTION regarding this shipment?? (1/13/2007)
Question: Why doesn't he just bid instead of writing a book ? (1/13/2007)
Response: my thoughts exactly.......I am checking with my moving and storage company today to get a better idea of what it is costing me to ship the utlity cart and the riding mower with them as opposed to shiping it with the tractor. Ill let you know either way and If you still wanted the job, we are very happy w/ your feedback and would be confident to ship with you. (1/13/2007)
Question: NO question, Wanted to see if bidding was going to be worth my time and effort for the type of equipment we run.My rates for transporting your equipment will not come close to the other guys bidding here. Sorry to waste your time. Good luck (1/13/2007)
Question: Yes Sir. I will be waiting to hear from you. I have worked hard & carefully for my feedback & worked for very great customers. Ron (1/13/2007)
Question: How are you doing today ? ron (1/15/2007)
Response: Doing great. well it looks like the my M&S company will be charging me about $550 to ship the cart and mower. So I am looking at around $2200-$2400 to ship including the tractor. I don't know if that is even close to what you could offer or not. If you were able to make this shipment, I would like to know what Ins. coverage would be. Are you licensed and insured to haul? I noticed you do not have a DOT or MC #. I just want to make sure that I would have coverage. Thanks for the great comunication. (1/15/2007)
Question: If all will fit onto my 25' flatbed I am interested. If I do bid you will have my DOT & MC. I carry $ 50,000 Cargo Ins. If your shipment will require more I can up iy. Thank you Riverman (1/15/2007)
Question: All will not fit. I probably transport the tractor & mower for $ 1800.00 if that will work for you. (1/15/2007)
Response: That sound good so far....I just want to double check that everything will fit on your trailer. The tractor has the gannon box on it and the rings and harrow are seperate implements. The harrow can probably stack on the gannon with a total length for the tractor at 19 feet. The rings could stand upright and tie down to the tractor and maybe take up another foot and a half. The mower is 5 1/2 x 4 x4. We could possably be over by a foot? Would it help to have pictures? Let me know. Thanks, Carol (1/15/2007)
Question: Thanks for the reply Carol. Before we go any farther I must ask how soon you need this taken care of ? I am busy through this month & will be leaving about the 24th for ND. then pulling a trailer back to N. Cal. (1/15/2007)
Response: No rush...sometime the end of Feb. The tractor cant leave until my horses get shipped and that will be after the 15th of Feb. (1/15/2007)
Question: That would work for me. The NE trip is probably 6 - 7 dats. I have a great wife but I don't want to push it. Do you have a horse transporter. I know a good one in Santa Barbara Ca (1/15/2007)
Response: I have Equine Express on a recommendation. If something doesnt work out than I would be happy to get the referal from you. Thanks. Carol (1/16/2007)
Question: $1400 insured and reliable transport. anytime in Feb. I carry 750k liability and 100k in cargo. DOT/MC compliant. Thanks, RCdallas972 (1/15/2007)
Response: Hello~ Did you resend me this question, or is this to include the cart and mower? Thank you for the clarification. (1/16/2007)
Question: All from the same location and same destination? Add $300 because it will take up space I could use for another shipment. $1730 total. Hope this works for you.I often require a 20% deposit on a load this far planned ahead. That would be $240. Please advise if this is ok. Thanks, RCdallas972 (1/16/2007)
Question: Joe here with JV AUTO TRANSPORT. We are still interested in transporting. We can do in Feb. Our bid was for the total transport of three items. Let me know if still interested. Check our profile we have all DOT info there and wea are insured. Thanks, (1/16/2007)
Response: Hello Joe~ I already have 3 estimates for $2000 and under from insured providers w/DOT Thank you for your interest. Carol (1/16/2007)
Question: Carol,If you are comfortable with the amount I posted for your shipment I will bid & schedule the trip. DOT & Insurance information provided prior to acceptance. Thank you (1/16/2007)
Response: Hi Ron~ If you could give me a day or so, I am considering a bid from a provider that can ship all 3 together. I dont know for sure, I want to see if he can give me more references. Thanks for your patience. I will still ship with you if he cannot provide those. Thank you, Carol (1/17/2007)
Question: No a problem. It would be best if you can get it done all at once. (1/17/2007)
Question: Carol, I have references that I can give you. I haul high end vehicles for a couple of Mercedes dealerships here in TX and can get you in contact with 1 of the brokers that find shipments for me- for reference purposes..Also a couple of household moves. Thanks for your time, Robert- RCdallas972 (1/18/2007)
Response: Robert~ Did you get the last queston I posted to you about the insurance? (1/20/2007)
Question: Still available next month if I can help DOT,MC 1 M & 100,000 Cargo (1/18/2007)
Response: Thanks Ron, I think I have it covered, but I will let you know for sure either way. Thanks for the great communicaton!! Carol (1/19/2007)
Question: Thank you Carol. That's good. I will be around. Ron (1/19/2007)
Question: Carol, FYI. If you hire a LEGAL carrier he should have cargo ins that is included FREE. (1/19/2007)
Response: Thanks Ron, I will definetly be AWARE. Appretiate the heads up. Carol (1/19/2007)
Question: carol, i'm a DOT & MC legal transporter, i also charge extra for my insur coverage if someone use my service. (1/19/2007)
Question: Maybe I am doing something wrong but I pay a lot for my cargo so I don't have to charge my customers extra. If they want to pay extra good for them. (1/19/2007)
Question: I did not mean to imply you are illegal. I just don't charge extra but maybe I should. (1/20/2007)
Question: Hello, it seems like you have been going through alot of junk to try and get this thing hauled. I have a 40ft flatbed gooseneck, and can haul everything you have for $2500. I have full coverage insurance and 100000 cargo. Thanks, Donni (1/21/2007)
Question: i can load all 3 piecies onto my trailer and have delivered to you within three days baring bad weather for less then your target price please see bid below under freight-tec thanks (1/22/2007)
Question: Is this still available ? (1/26/2007)
Response: HI Ron~ Yes it is still available. was waiting to see if someone could ship all 3 item for a decent price. Not having such great luck. The one cancelled. Are you still available the third week of Feb? (1/28/2007)
Question: Hello, just checking to see if you still need this moved. I am gonna be coming back from Los Angelas on wednesday or thursday, can haul your equipment for $1500. Thanks, Donni. (1/27/2007)
Response: Thanks for the interest. This equipment cant be shipped until mid Feb. (1/28/2007)
Question: As of now I don't have anything scheduled. I am in Nebrasks right now heading to N. Cal. Met a shipper at the Canadian Border with boat on Sunday. At night it was -12 with a -30 wind chill. They can have that !!!! Why did they back out on the shipment ? Remember all will not fit. Thanks Ron (1/29/2007)
Response: I like the heat much better than the cold! I dont know why he cancelled the bid. We comunicated a couple times and all seemed ok and the his bid was retracted without a word. I know that you can only take the tractor and mower. I will ship the cart with the Moving and storage co. I would rather do that than go thru any hassle. If you would bid and then we can set a date anytime between Feb. 23rd and the 2nd of March. Thanks, Carol (1/30/2007)
Question: Just got home. I see the other carrier is back. Would you still like me to place a bid ? If I bid I get the job done. No hassels ! Ron (2/1/2007)
Response: Hey Ron~ That last bid is not the same guy. He has bid 5 times w/ different prices. no way.... please bid and we will get this going. Thanks, Carol (2/1/2007)
Question: Carol, the time frame you have stated above, late February early March is good for me. As I previously mentioned some time ago I will bid $ 1800.00 Insured. If that is acceptable then I will bid. Remember I CAN'T transport all three pieces. Thanks Ron (2/1/2007)
Response: yes, I understand you will ship the tractor w/implemants and mower for a total of 25 feet. It has to be picked up by march 2nd, as we are vacating our property. $1800 insured. Thanks! (2/1/2007)
Question: That was fast. I will bid & you will have my DOT & MC numbers & proff of ins. ! (2/1/2007)
Response: sounds good! (2/1/2007)
