Question: I have transported many trailers from the Douglas plant including my own trailers I have purchased there. Let me know if it is off the production line and I will offer a competitive bid. (8/11/2007)

Response: Yes, it is presently being built, I was advised that it should be ready by about 8/27/07.It was ordered from Southern Dimentions in Douglas, Ga. (8/12/2007)

Response: $700 for me to keep an open schedule for that week. (8/12/2007)

Response: I am not certain what date the trailer will be available to be picked up, as it is being built special and will not be ready until around the end of the month. (8/14/2007)

Response: I have some bids pending and if you want me to schedule, I can offer my bid for you to accept and we can work on some flexibility. Will that work for you? (8/14/2007)

Response: If your price was $700.00, I guess that will work for me but like I mentioned, it might not be ready until late in this month. I have not gotten any update from the dealer. Thanks for the offer. (8/16/2007)

Response: Accept and I will call you to work out your flexible time-frame. Like I said, I am very familiar with their production line and staff and can work with most options. (8/16/2007)

Response: Before I accept any offer, I would like to know the method of transport. i.e. flatbed truck or trailer or is it towed? also what happens in the event of damage, what is the cost of insurance, if any and how long is the travel time. I have not used this service before. (8/16/2007)

Response: Your trailer will be towed to your destination normally within 48hrs of pick up fully insured. (8/16/2007)

Question: If it can be picked up after 9/2, keep me in mind. (8/24/2007)

Response: A reply for I95 Transporter. The trailer is supposed to be ready on 8/30/07. If you could pick it up asap after that date, it will work for me. The dealer is supposed to call me when it is ready. as of yesterday they said it looks like 8/30 for a ready date. Please let me know if you can do it on 9/3 for sure and what would be the probable delivery date. Also, are transport license plates avail? Thanks for your info. (8/25/2007)

Response: Thanks for the update. As I stated in a previous post that I have transported many trailers from a few manufacturers in Douglas. And you probably already know by now, most times the production line or the reseller can not guarantee a finish date especially around a holiday weekend. Rather than commit to dates, I will continue to watch to see when it is ready then I can offer a better time-frame that will work for both of us. (8/25/2007)

Question: Sorry, I forgot to answer another of your concerns. I have transporter plates, and use them, plus provide up to $50,000 cargo insurance, at no extra charge to you. AND - I have so much more feedback than your other active bidders, that it isn't even a contest. (8/26/2007)
