Question: HI, ONE HOUR NORTH, WOULD THAT BE GRAND RAPIDS? I AM ADDING AN ADDITION ON TO OUR CABIN NEAR BOVEY. I JUST DROVE DOWN THRU GARRISON ON FRI. I WILL BE GOING BACK TO THE CABIN NEXT SUNDAY TO COMPLETE SOME MORE ON THE PROJECT AND WILL BE SHUTTING IT BY THE 1ST. OF NOV. MAYBE WE CAN ARRANGE A MUCH BETTER CONNECTION. Response: We are near Longville, about 45 minutes southwest of Grand Rapids. Although it is possible to arrange a more convenient pick-up location, we still have the issue of getting the canoe from Portland to Bend without incurring additional cost. Thanks again for your interest. (10/18/2006)
