Question: HI BRIAN. FRED AT FREDS PONY EXPRESS. I WILL BE AVAILABLE IN ABOUT A WEEK TO DO THIS TRANSPORT FOR YOU. I WILL BE HEADING EAST OUT OF CA. HAVE ANY OF THESE HORSES BEEN TRANSPORTED BEFORE? I CAN MOVE THEM ALL IN 1 TRIP,WHICH I THINK WOULD BE EASIER THAN TRYING TO SPLIT THEM UP. TOTAL COST FOR THE TRIP (INCLUD. HAY,SHAVINGS AND ALL EXPENSES) WOULD BE $1900.00. PLEASE SEE PROFILE AND FEEDBACK,AND LET ME KNOW IF I CAN HELP. FEEL FREE TO E-MAIL WITH ANY QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS. THANK YOU ,FRED (5/28/2009)

Response: Hello Fred:
Thanks for the quick response
The older horses have been transported. The 3 young ones have been in trailors only locally ( one time)
You would pick them up at our house and deliver them to my uncles ranch in Monte Vista Colorado. I will talk my wife and get back to you soon.
Brian (5/28/2009)

Response: HEY ITS FRED. THANKS BRIAN,LET ME KNOW IF I CAN HELP. FRED (5/28/2009)

Response: Fred:
Are we able to insure our horses thru any providers you know about ?
Brian (5/28/2009)

Response: HI BRIAN,ITS FRED. S OF RIGHT NOW ,I DO NOT KNOW OR HAVE ANY HOOK UPS ON INSURANCE. ALL OF THE HORSES I TRANSPORT ARE INSURED BY THE OWNER OF THE HORSE. I KNOW THAT SOME INSURANCE COMPANIES WILL COVER THE HORSES FOR STATED VALUE,"FOR TRANSPORT ONLY" ,UNDER A BLANKET POLICY. YOU WOULD HAVE TO CHECK YOUR LOCAL COMPANIES TO FIND OUT. I MIGHT SUGGEST THE INTERNET ?? I CARRY A LIABILITY POLICY ON THE TRUCK,BUT WOULD ONLY COVER IN THE EVENT OF DEATH,OR LOSS. NOT LOSS OF USE. LET ME TELL YOU IT ISNT CHEAP. HOPEFULLY I WAS ABLE TO HELP. THANKS,FRED (5/28/2009)

Response: Fred:
I think you are the most qualified to haul my horses. Are you able to lower your pricing any ?
I will not take the the low bid on this transport.
Thanks
Brian (5/29/2009)

Response: HI BRIAN. THIS IS HOW I GENERALLY WORK MULTIPLE HORSES. THE FIRST HORSE IS FULL PRICE PER MILE,ANY HORSE THERE AFTER(AS LONG AS THEY ARE TRAVELING FROM THE SAME POINT A TO B) ARE 1/2 PRICE. I BACKED IT OFF SOME. THEY WILL ALL GO TOGETHER,DIRECT TRIP. I PROVIDE HAY AND SHAVINGS. WATER AND HAY STOPS EVERY 2/3 HOURS. PICKUP IN THE AM.DROP, THE FOLLOWING AM. NO LAYOVERS. I CAN DO THIS FOR YOU FOR $1750.00. I DO APPRECIATE YOUR CONSIDERATIONS. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF I CAN HELP. IM STILL IN CA. ,AND I HAVE HORSES COMING THAT WAY. BUT I HAVE NOT CONFIRMED THE SCHEDULE AS OF YET. DO YOU HAVE A TIMELINE THAT YOU ARE WORKING WITH. TALK TO YOU SOON ,FRED (5/29/2009)

Response: Fred:
Anytime after June 2nd but as soon as you can.
What time frame are you thinking.
Brian (5/29/2009)

Response: HI BRIAN. I WAS LOOKING AT THIS AGAIN. THE 2 YOUNGEST HORSES,CAN THEY RIDE TOGETHER IN AN 8X10 BOX STALL?? THAT WOULD BE THE DECIDING FACTOR. THE 4 ADULTS WONT BE A PROBLEM. I JUST WANT TO MAKE SURE THE KIDS WILL BE COMFORTABLE!!!??? (5/29/2009)

Response: Sure. I think the two little horses should ride together. That is how I would put them in my trailor.
Brian (5/29/2009)

Response: HI BRIAN. THEY SHOULD BE FINE THEN. I WILL START TO CONFIRM MY SCHEDULE NOW ,AND I WILL GET BACK TO YOU BY THIS EVENING ON A DATE. TRY TO HAVE A GOOD DAY,AND I WILL TALK TO YOU SOON. FRED (5/29/2009)

Question: If you don't mind having the 2 smaller horses ride together in the back area of my 5 horse I could get them delivered around June 7/8th for about 1100.00.
Thanks Jill (5/28/2009)

Response: Hello Jill:
What services do you normally provide for the horses during the trip?
What is the brand and year of your trailor ?
Thanks
Brian Lester (5/28/2009)

Response: I always have food/water in front of them stopping every 3/4 hours checking and refilling. I would use a 5 horse Sundowner slant 06 model pulled by a 07 Chevy Dually. If it works just let me know The rear space is like a space n half I move many ponies/babies together back there comfortably.
Thanks Jill (5/28/2009)

Response: Jill:
When do you need a confirmation of this bid ?
What do you know aboutgetting insurance for my horses ?
Thanks
Brian Lester
(5/28/2009)

Response: I am very flexible even if you miss that date I will be delivering some again down that way a few weeks later. I cover insurance with my equipement through my barn but most horses have insurance of their own also. I will put a bid in if it works great if not I understand
Thanks Jill (5/28/2009)

Response: What day would you come ? Anytime after tuesday would be OK ( 06.02.09)
Thanks
Brian Lester (5/28/2009)
