Questions for this shipment:

Question: HOW DO YOU WANT THEM HAULED? STRAIGHT THROUGH OR TAKE A FEW DAYS AND LET THEM REST A FEW TIMES. WILL THEY FIT IN A 20' STOCK TRAILER? THANKS--GTHAULING-KS (5/12/2008)
Response: They might fit in a 20 foot stock trailer but I might have to take a few less cows. The individual who shot me the price of 3400 dollars has an 8x26 stock trailer. I was hoping to keep the per cow price close to 200 dollars. I could have them hauled either straight through or with a few stops. Shoot me a price for both options if you would if there is a difference between the two. Thanks for your question and the information. (5/12/2008)
Response: WHAT TYPE OF PLACE ARE THEY GOING TO? EITHER WAY, I THINK IT WOULD BE EASIER ON THEM IF THEY WERE HAULED STRAIGHT THROUGH. THE EXTRA STANDING AROUND, LOADING AND UNLOADING, AND LOTS OF EXTRA TIME ON THE ROAD ISN'T GOOD FOR ANY LIVESTOCK. I WOULD LOAD AS MANY HEAD AS YOU WANT TO. YOUR CATTLE--YOUR CALL. AS FAR AS A PER HEAD BID GOES, I CANT DO. BUT I CAN BE AROUND $2800-$2900 ON A DEDICATED LOAD. WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS? THANKS--GTHAULING (5/12/2008)
Response: How many 1100 lb. frame score 3 to 4 cows that are in their last trimester do you think you could haul comfortably? I agree with you that the quicker they get here the less stress they will endure. They are being picked up at a farm corral and unloaded at a farm corral. I can be there for both the loading and unloading (shouldn't be much of a hassle.) I have my own truck and trailer and could do it for a 1000 dollars of diesel but was willing to farm it out if somebody was on a backhaul and was interested in doing it for around 2000 dollars. Thanks (5/12/2008)
Response: IM NOT EXACTLY SURE HOW MANY WE COULD FIT. I KNOW I'VE HAD 12 HEAD OF WEANLINGS ON THAT I HAULED TO MEXICO AT ONE TIME WITH PLENTY OF ROOM TO MOVE AROUND AND HAULED 13 HEAD OF MATURE ELK COWS TO MARKET AT ONE TIME. THEY FIT JUST RIGHT. I KNOW THEY DONT HAVE THE MASS THESE COWS WILL HAVE, SO IT WOULD PROBABLY BE CLOSER TO 10 OR 11 HEAD OF PREG COWS. ALTHOUGH BACKHAULES ARE PRETTY MUCH A THING OF THE PAST WITH TODAYS OPPERATING COSTS, I CAN BEAT YOUR CURRENT BIDS BUT MAY BE ONE OR TWO HEAD LESS THAN THEY CAN HAUL. AND IF YOUR WILLING TO WAIT I THINK YOU COULD GET CLOSE TO YOUR TARGET PRICE OF $2K. GOOD LUCK AND LET ME KNOW IF YOU WANT ME TO BID THIS HAUL FOR 10 OR 11 HEAD. THANKS FOR YOUR TIME AND RESPONSES. GTHAULING (5/13/2008)
Response: Do you have a rough guess of when later might be? (5/13/2008)
Response: IT ALL DEPENDS ON HOW SOON I CAN GET A LOAD INTO YOUR LAOD AREA. ARE YOU IN KS? WHAT TYPE OF TRAILER DO YOU HAVE? THANKS--GTHAULING (5/13/2008)
Question: Hello, we will be in Montana around the second week in June, we have a 24' Exiss stock trailer, and we could offer you transport for $2175.00 if you feel you could fit them in the trailer properly. Please see our feedback and profile, any additional insurance for the cattle will be your responsiblity to obtain. We require 1/2 down to guarantee and book transport and balance in full upon delivery. Please let us know is you are interested and we can place a bid. Thanks for your time, and we look forward to hearing back. Have A Great Day. Our profile will show a photo of our trailer for you to see. Thanks Again! (5/12/2008)
Response: Hello and thanks for the bid. I have a fellow in Kansas who had bid it at 2000 dollars but he only has a 20' trailer. I see that both of you come highly regarded from your feedback. I will be out about 175 dollars to UShip for the service. How many animals if you had to guess(rough only I won't hold you to it) could you haul like the type I have described? If you could give a specific date in June or as close as you can approximate and do it for 2000 dollars I'm pretty sure the job would be yours. Thanks again and I look forward to hearing from you. (5/13/2008)
Response: Hello, Thanks for getting back to us, I am going to discuss this over with Rob as he has much more experience in Cattle Hauling and we will get back to you this evening regarding approx. # of head to fit in the trailer and a closer timeframe. To earn your business yes we will do $2000 total. I will be back in touch very soon. Thanks Again (5/13/2008)
Question: Hi, I spoke with Rob he is guessing somewhere between 10-12 head but can tell better once he gets there to load up, your total amount of $2000 is for the use of the entire trailer, so if there happens to be more room available you can add additional, no other animals will be on the trailer during your transport, Both Rob and I will drive team thru on their transport, so they will have minimal time on the trailer. What are your plans to be at pickup or at delivery or both? As far as pickup I am waiting for confirmation on the transport going into Montana, but as it looks now it, pickup will occur during the week of June 2nd. Do you have any days and/or timeframes that works better for their pickup and delivery? Please let us know, as we would love to be able to assist you in your transport. We look forward to hearing back. Thanks Again (5/13/2008)
Response: Hello, I will be at both MT and KS for pickup and delivery. 10-12 animals sounds about right to me and should work great. The week of June 2 would work perfectly for me as I will be on vacation. Just let me know when you have a date and what the next step is please. Thanks again for the bid and the information and I'll chat with you in a bit. (5/14/2008)
Response: Hello, we have placed a formal bid below for your acceptance, if you have any questions, let us know, otherwise we hope we will be of assistance to you in your transport needs. Thanks Again (5/15/2008)
Response: Did you come up with a date yet? Thanks for the bid! (5/15/2008)
Response: We are looking close to the first part of June like June 2 or 3 for pickup. Will this work for you? Please let us know Thanks Again (5/15/2008)
Question: Hello, we wanted to touch bases with you and find out if you are still interested in us hauling your cattle, as we are finalizing details on our end for the trip. If you are ready to do the transport, and you would like us to do it, you accept the bid at which time we both will receive each others contact information to deal directly. Please let us know, We appreciate it. Thanks Again Hope to hear from you soon. Have A Great Day. (5/16/2008)
Response: Hello, my apologies for dragging my feet. But my order requirements have changed drastically in the last 48 hours. I am now bringing 22 head back and will need a much larger trailer. I am sorry to have wasted your time as I would have liked to do business with you. Thanks again very much for the bid and the correspondence. I wish you the best of luck. (5/16/2008)
Question: Hi we can help you if you still need your cattle shipped! We have a branch of our ranch in KS. and we can ship them for you!Let me know what you think a fair price is and then we will go from there! Thanks Lucious (5/20/2008)
Response: Hello, our shipping requirements have changed. We are now bringing 20-22 animals and will need a larger trailer. I have a bid of 2800 dollars (backhaul) from a fellow in NE with an 8'x38' trailer. If you could compete with that bid please feel free to shoot me a number. Thanks for the question. (5/21/2008)
Response: Will this be a one time deal or is it a ongoing type haul? If you are willing to use us again we can match that bid and be ready whenever you need us to be because we have 4 trucks and are always looking for work! (5/21/2008)
Response: How large is your trailer? (5/21/2008)
Response: Hi we have a 36ft and a 40ft. (5/21/2008)
Response: The forty foot stock trailer sounds like it would work well for us. I just had a bid from a trucker from NE Kansas. He has a truck in Idaho that will run right past Livingston on its way back to Kansas. He thinks he might be able to do the backhaul for close to 2 dollars a mile to just offset his repo costs. He has said he will get back to me tomorrow with his final bid. I will let you know as soon as I hear from him. Thanks again for your bid. I looked at your profile and your feedback indicates you are a first rate hauler and if possible I would like to do business with you. (5/21/2008)
Response: that's fine just let me know and we can work something out! (5/21/2008)
