Questions for this shipment:

Question: the inside height of my vechile is 54" tall. the opening is only 47" can we tilt lay down or modify this unit to fit. if so your target price looks good to me. (1/2/2008)
Response: hello, this unit could be laid down for safe transport depending on the carrier. for example, if it were to go in the back of a capeted soft suspension minivan, then no damage would occur to it. unlike say, it being thrown in the back of a trailer (rough riding) and other things thrown on that could come in contact with it. please just reasure me and you probably would be ok. its not that heavy, so if blanketed and shrink wrapped (we-i can do after you have seen the unit) it could go up on top of stuff. if used as a filler for a box van it would have to be protected with some form of crate, to be totally safe. so it all depends on the actual placement on which it would ride. i'm sounding carefull as it has to arrive damage free. costs $2000. and its perfect as you would see. older nice folks bought it from me on ebay. peace, garyg (1/2/2008)
Response: i will bid. 275 lbs seems heavy. but i will take you at your word that its lite. (1/2/2008)
Response: hi mike,, these are light stamped steel units, not like the old heavy cast iron top units. much lighter. its 50"h only cause it has the optional steel extension on it, hope all this jargon helps! thanks, garyg (1/2/2008)
Response: i will place a bid. (1/3/2008)
