Questions for this shipment:

Question: What is your budget on this? This will need to be broken into 2 truckloads based on the weight. When did you need these moved? Thanks, Adam, Collard Transport. (1/2/2008)
Response: approx. 2,000 (1/3/2008)
Question: where in burton are you mick? I can do 2 trucks for 2000.00 any time in the next week, Im also in flint, let me know soon and ill make a formal bid thank you Shannon . (1/6/2008)
Question: with the weight you have listed, that makes sense to me, to be about right, at 70000#, that would require 2 trucks with trailers. Thank you S.W.Ashbaker (1/7/2008)
Response: I think maybe one of my answers didn't post. I have already picked up one load and filled up a 24ft 12,000 lb rental truck (I think I went over weight). We took a good chunk out of the inventory, but still have well over half left to transport. I think one load would get at least most or all of what is left. So, if you can bid for one load, we can get this scheduled. Also, let me know the day(s) you are available to transport. I am hiring 4 day workers to box and load, so you can bid for that as well. (1/8/2008)
Response: Oh ok Mick sorry did not see that posting, I do not have the man power to bid on boxing and loading, sorry. ok Ill bid 1 Truck and Trailer and I will bid to help your day help load, Is there a dock at the drop off point? or is it a residence? (1/8/2008)
Question: Would the remaining books you have fit in a uhaul or ryder truck? If so even if more then one trip was neccessary I believe I could match your best bid. How many approx. boxes are there, trying to determine labor. (1/8/2008)
Response: I hauled the last load in a Budget rental truck, and it would definately take 2 loads. I had 5 people load the truck in 4 hours and I unloaded the truck in 4.5 hours (1/8/2008)
Response: are there loading docks at both ends or will we be loading these using the truck's loading ramp? Also do you have help loading or do I need to provide all that? (1/8/2008)
Question: Hello again , a couple of more questions for you. What are the hours of availability to pick up and deliver these boxes. I am trying to determine the amount of days needed for thtruck as well as how many people we may need . I know it will be my wife and I. Do you have help as well. I am thinking this is looking pretty possible from my end but not until the week of the 21st. Does this work for you? Also what is the amount it will take to get the deal done. With all the expenses involved and the uship fees , fuel ect. I am thinking about 2250, for both trips. (1/8/2008)
Response: I must have the books here by Sunday. (1/8/2008)
Response: If I was able to do it this week what price would it take to get the deal done , and how would my wife get in to the delivery location to unload? (1/8/2008)
Response: both pickup and dropoff are businesses. Both locations can be accessed at off hours. Until I get the books off the shelves and into boxes, I don't know whether it will be one or two more 24ft trucks. A semi, I think would do it. (1/8/2008)
Response: I am not able to provide a semi. I was offering to make to seperate trips with a 24' budget truck and provide my wife and I to assist in loading and unloading providing you had some help at the loading end. I am figuring my wife and I would be away from home about 3 days or so and are able to do it this week. My schedule can be shifted aroud for you. I can do this for less then your current bid and by the looks of things I maybe your only hope. If you are interested please reply. Total bid would $2250. Half upfront to cover expenses and the rest when finished. I need to know asap so as to reserve the truck for Thursday morning. (1/8/2008)
Question: What are we bidding on at this point? On full-load from origin to destination. Will this be floor loaded and then off loaded the same way or will it all be palletized with forklift at origin and destination? We have capabilities to make this move. (1/8/2008)
Question: I do have a semi and can load thursday night and be in ohio on friday or load all day friday and deliver on saturday whatever works for you , plus im going to be helping loading and unloading, can bring wife to help as well. (1/8/2008)
Question: srry last question or response by SWAshbaker (1/8/2008)
