Questions for this shipment:

Question: this is 3500 or more miles i can do it for 2900 dollars (3/22/2006)
Response: no thank you (3/22/2006)
Question: how soon can boat & trailer be pick up & are u will to pay 2500. ? thanks, larry (3/22/2006)
Response: no thank you...I have bids under 25oo (3/22/2006)
Question: PLACE BID. (3/22/2006)
Question: i notice u have a target price at 2300. are u willing to pay that & can your boat be pick up asap? thanks (3/23/2006)
Response: boat could be picked up anytime with a couple days notice. willing to pay 2300. still interested? (3/23/2006)
Question: A bid of $2500 would yield a profit of $176.25 for driving 0ver 3500 miles. Based on DOT regulations, which mandate no individual driver can work more than 10 hours per 24 hour period, it will take 7 days driving time to complete this shipment. And after all that, you would begrudge a piddly little $176.25 wage for the effort. Where do these people come from?.....There are some very, very small people in this world. The people hauling these goods can't even afford to own a boat like that, and they are trying to raise families too, just like you and I. It's a sad commentary when you are squabbling with a man that is trying to put food on the table, and you are worried about having enough money after you get your toy delivered to buy more toys. Some day we all have to face the man upstairs, and tell him what things we have accomplished and hold so dear to our hearts. I hope this won't be the thing you are most proud of! Nuff Said.... (3/24/2006)
Question: might be a back haul & they just want to cover gas. best thing to do is stop worrying about them & try to win a bid yourself. uship got alot of big babies that do alot of cryin instead of bidding. HAVE FUN (3/25/2006)
Question: Do you know if the trailer is roadworthy, and would you take care of any possible blowouts or bearing replacements, etc. Lotta miles, worth doing a little prep to the trailer. I will do that prep work and ship for 2500. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks! (3/29/2006)
Question: Is there any way you could get to the Atlanta area around the 9th, I might be able to help out better from there, and save you a little denero! Let me know! (3/31/2006)
Response: can't get boat to atlanta. trailer is brand new and top quality. and boat will be shrink wrapped (3/31/2006)
Question: I may be driving to Seattle next week. I could drop it off for $1800 if I make this run. (4/3/2006)
Response: I found out today that the boat could be picked up any time next week! do you know if you are going to Seattle? How would you tow the boat? the boat is 8 1/2 wide and the trailer is 9 1/2 wide. Will my cargo(boat/trailer) be insured by you during transport? (4/3/2006)
Question: Is this little whaler REALLY OVER 10' WIDE? (4/5/2006)
Question: I made and then retracted the $1800 offer. This trailer exceeds 8'6", the Max legal trailer width in most states. I'm thinking it may be trouble without trip permits on this long run. I decline. DC (4/6/2006)
Question: COUPLE QUESTIONS The dimensions seem a bit odd, if the trailer is that wide, will you cover any expense for special fees, and I am in Atlanta, would have to drive along ways extra, so My other question, is how much can you budget for this, I could p/u Tues and head west. Let me know asap, Thanks! (4/9/2006)
Response: what kind of prices are we looking at to get it to oregon$ (4/9/2006)
Question: Well, here's the deal. I found out this morning from the guy I am buying my truck from(who transports boats for a living in the South) gets 2.50 a mile!! And stays busy year round. He told me I was NUTS to charge a buck a mile, especially that far. So, that is FYI and FMI as well. But I quoted you once for 2500. I will honor that under these terms. You need to at least cover my fuel from Atlanta-P/U spot, cover the uship fee of 7.9%, and any repairs that may arise on the trailer, ie; tires, bearings, brakes(approved by you first)and I will be monitoring these ALOT! This is providing you with a very sweet deal, but I need to know quickly. I am looking at taking one to Canada that is paying 3500 from Tx. but I would have to wait around two days, so yours would be my preferance if I could leave today from Ga. even though it pays less! But a grand for a two day wait would be worth it too! Let me know. Thanks! You have my profile. (4/10/2006)
Response: Got the trailer info 8 1/2 wide and 22 long. Trailer is brand new (only used one time) wouldn't expect much to happen along the way but I guess you never know. I would cover a blow out if it happened. what's an estimate on the fuel from GA to Naples? (4/10/2006)
Question: I would need at least a hundred bucks. It will take 10 hrs, so if you would cover a room for one night, that would be my pay for 10 hours of driving, really fair, right! Also, is the trailer ball size a 2" or a 2 5/16? Let me know real quick as you have been doing. Thanks again! (4/10/2006)
Response: ball hitch is a 2" . So my understanding then is a $2600 bid is that correct? (4/10/2006)
Question: Well, I will bid that amount, but you will need to cover the uship fee when I get there, and we need to figure out how to get me some fuel money to start out. Waiting for your response. Thanks! (4/10/2006)
Response: my father has the boat in florida, we could get you some fuel money there. How much are you thinkin? Also I have not used uship before so how do we pay? Credit card? (4/10/2006)
Question: Usually I get half down, and then the balance when I deliver. So I will go for a grand from your dad to get started, and we'll fine tune it from there. Shall I bid now? (4/10/2006)
Response: My father will meet you there in Naples with $1000 cash. Do you have an estimated time of arrival? Also I assumd you were a bonded Driver is that the case? and yes go ahead and send the bid. (4/10/2006)
Question: I will be there in the morning. I do have a class B CDL. But insurance is additional, as it states in my profile. My carrier will not allow me to cover others possesions. But your own auto policy should suffice. I will submit my bid and a new phone # to call me and we can work out the details. Thanks again! (4/10/2006)
