Question: hello there, is the total height with cradle only 10 feet?if so i can give you a very reasonable rate.check my feedback.thanks-brian (1/20/2008)

Response: Hi Fredbird,
I'll need to measure to be completely sure, but I don't think the height with cradle can be much more than ten feet. I can ask the broker to measure for me. There's also the mast to consider, as it would probably have to ride on top of the boat, strapped to the pulpits.
I'll send a message to the broker and get back to you. Are you thinking of loading the cradle and boat together on a flatbed or something like that? (1/20/2008)

Response: thanks for the fast response, yes i would be hauling this on a flatbed that's why i need the overall height.if it will fit height wise i can give you a very reasonable rate. i am fully licensed and insured for $1,000,000.check my feed back and let me know the height and i'll place a bid.also how long is the mast?it my be able to lay next to the boat on the trailer.when do you want to move the boat and is there going to be a lift at both ends to load and unload?thanks again-brian (1/20/2008)

Response: I checked the internet and it looks like the mast is about 31' 6"

Response: sounds good about the size on the mast,i was hoping for a sooner ship date but i can work around your schedule.let me know when you find out about the overall height and i will place a bid.one more thing are you going to keep this listed until may or if i give you a good rate will you accept so i can plan the route and we can exchange contact info?thanks-brian (1/20/2008)

Response: If I am satisfied with an offer, I'd be happy to commit to the shipper. I do want to ask some of the people at the marina about shipping a boat this way. Is this something you've done before? Are cradles substantial enough for the road?

Response: thanks for the quick response.i have moved boats like this before, but as far as the cradle goes it depends on what type of cradle it is.the boats i've moved in the past on my flatbed were on full cradles, meaning they were sorta v shaped and went under the boat and was flat on the bottom to rest on the trailer.find out what you can and let me know.thanks again-brian (1/20/2008)
