Question: Good afternoon. I am currently looking to put together a load for a return trip South to Florida, and points between. I would like to schedule pickups starting as soon as Tuesday or Wednesday, with Florida deliveris expected by the first of the following week. If this time frame would fit your needs/requirementsa for this, and there would be at least some assist with loading and off loading, I could get this delivered for you for 550 straight up, cash on delivery. Please let me know either way as soon as you can so I will know whether I can add this to my schedule, or search elsewhere. I realize that I may not the cheapest, nor likely the most expensive, but with diesel prices so high, I can no longer continue to absorb the cost. bedroom set consisting of a triple dresser, armoire, 2 nightstands, desk with chair, headboard, mirror, 2 living room chairs, small end table, and two "soda chairs" which are small cast-iron framed chairs. (no beds!) I have pictures of all of the items except the soda chairs, but don't know how to email them to you here. I also need to know when you would be available to pick up. Response: Hi Amy. I'm in Florida right now putting a load together headig back North. I expect to be in NY around the end of next week at the latest. So I could probably pick these up the weekend of the 4/19. Its possible I could be there sooner, but depends on how quickly I fill a load here. Cost wise, with the additional items, for me to do this, you;d be looking at around 700. If this would still work for you just let me know and I'll submit the formal bid. If not, I can understand. Response: I'm just a "one-man" show so I would need at least some assist with the bulkier/heavier items. As for wrapping..I wrap all furniture in fleece type blankets, and secure with straps ( I used to use chains but they kept getting rusty..lol) If you have not already done so, please review my profile and feedback, just as you should with ANY BIDDER you may consider. Response: they are an agent as well, each office is independenlty owned except headquarters in chicago. we are on the treasure coast a couple of hours southeast of ocala. I should be speaking to driver by this afternoon on everything. no I do not need the additional photos, I know what they look like.
