Question: Hello. Working on a quote for you from my friend. 40 years trucking experience heavy freight shipping. Can possibly do loads in one shot. Can all of long pieces go on one trailer? How are you loading, and how high can you go?? If you had an exact count and length, that would be good. Can you do this on a Saturday?? Thank you, Russ and Bernie (1/5/2008)

Response: thanks for the reply.
All material can go in one shot. All long stuff plus will fit on one 53'er. Rest of frame will fit on a second 48'er and then a 3rd 48 full of siding and other misc. timbers to go to a Chelsea, MA address.
A stepdown deck will work fine but will not reduce # of loads. (1/6/2008)

Response: Will you be loading in PA, and what will be the waiting time in all 3 locations for my drivers? Thank you. Russ and Bernie (1/6/2008)

Response: only need a single 53' trailer now. loading unloading approx. 1 hour and 3 hours.
total timber length is 54.5' so special permits required. (1/7/2008)

Question: We have a 53 ft. Stepdeck, can your shipment fit completly on this trailer, to combine the two loads into one, or is it definitly a "2" load shipment, we details to make decision's. thanks! Bill (1/6/2008)

Response: A 53' stepdown will work but will note reduce the number of trucks needed. (1) 53' and (2) 48's are what we will need to complete this job. The 3rd truck will be going to Chelsea, MA. (1/6/2008)

Response: for the loads for the "48ft. trailer" could it be loaded in a 48ft. "VAN trailer" now we have 48ft. flats, but we have freight coming back out of that area needing a "van trailer" we can give you a better rate, if it can go in a van. (1/6/2008)

Response: we now only need a single 53' flat bed. Timbers are 54.5' long so special permits will be needed.
A sleeper cab makes the full vehicle length too long to manuever the drop off area in holderness so a plain 2 seat cab is reccomended unless we unload from the road which will take a long time.
Estimated load/unload time = 1 hour/3 hours (1/7/2008)

Response: our only 53 ft. trailer that can be seen our Profile, it has no front head board, so the extra length you have, would hang over the front of the trailer, no permits needed for this load, using this trailer,
upper deck is 11 feet, and the lower deck is 42 feet long, we only have sleeper trucks, let us know if this equipment will work for you. Thanks! Bill (1/7/2008)

Response: Bill, thanks for bid and extra details. I will have to confirm on sleeper cab. We should be able to load other shorter material on lower portion of bed in order to have a level deck for the 54'ers.
Good news on the "no" permit issue.
I'm not in my office to email during day hours so will have to get back to you tomorrow evening (after the bid expires). Shipping can happen anytime this or next week. We already have 2 48'er loading tuesday and wednesday so you could be loaded as soon as Wednesday for a Thursday NH delivery if this works.

Response: Hi shaun, what day would you need this loaded and delivered?
we are booked this week, and next week have some work scheduled already, we would like to work you into the schedule, to help you w/your project.
what dates , and hours can this shippment be loaded, and what day "MUST" it be there in NH? we want to make sure we can comply w/your time frame, before commiting to a Bid.
FYI, we have not placed a bid yet, that was a Freight Broker who placed that Bid for your shippment.
Thanks! Bill (1/7/2008)

Response: Bill,
The sooner the better. Sometime next week would be fine but I would prefer not going beyond the 3rd week in Jan. Delivery for unloading in NH needs to be on a weekday: this is the only real stipulation. (1/7/2008)
