Question: HI THIS IS CHRIS FROM 2 GUY MOVING I HAVE A 17FT MOVING TRUCK WILL THIS FIT (7/10/2009)

Response: It arrived in a 18-wheeler.
The stacks of prints were loaded into carts and wheeled onto the truck.
(7/10/2009)

Response: WHAT U LOOKING TO PAY FOR THIS LET ME KNOW THANKS CHRIS FULLY INSURED (7/10/2009)

Response: Not sure. It was moved from NJ to Stamford last year, but I was not involved at that time. I think there were 6 guys and it took all day. Now I need to move it to Madison. If you want, you could load one day, park it overnight at our warehouse, and then set up and unload the next day. I'm assuming it may cost about $3,000 or so for 6 guys but I don't know. Can you do it? (7/10/2009)

Response: YES I CAN DO IT I JUST WANT TO MAKE SURE I HAVE THE RIGHT EQUIPMENT TO DO THE JOB WHAT WILL I NEED AND DO U KNOW WHAT SIZE TRUCK THEY USED MY PRICE MIGHT BE A LITTLE HIGHTER ALSO (7/10/2009)

Response: I understand. If you want I could meet you there and you could see it. I am going to try to get most of the framed works shipped to Florida, so that should help reduce the bulk on your trucks. Do you want to give me an estimate and that would be conditioned by a charge by the hour per man in case you go beyond a certain number of hours?? (7/10/2009)

Question: Hi there. Our main question is will this fit in a 24 ft box truck with a 7 1/2 ft doorway. With 3 men on a 2 day basis we can place a bid for 4000.00 flat rate. That means what ever time it takes. Check our feedback and let us know. (7/10/2009)

Response: Sounds reasonable. I need to run this by my partners and I'll get back to you. [contact information request removed].
Thanks. Peter. [phone number removed] (7/10/2009)

Response: Hi there Peter. To get on the best foot forward, let us know exactly what tools will be needed for break down and reassemble. that would be most appreciated. Thank you. (7/10/2009)

Response: The racks are simple assembly with nuts & bolts. (7/10/2009)

Response: Sorry for this old keyboard it keeps slipping up. We are not that bad in grammer dept. Let us know when it is ok to place our bid. (7/10/2009)

Response: any time.
Thanks. (7/10/2009)

Response: Sounds reasonable means that this move will be able to be made in one trip with our 24 ft truck. (7/10/2009)

Response: I think so, but it's really a matter of efficient use of the truck's interior space. The stacks of prints should be placed in your carts and then wheeled on board. I assume a 24-ft truck is not as large as an 18-wheeler, so we may have to allow for 2 trips. (7/10/2009)

Response: Our truck is trailer height . We haul used pallets also stacked 18 high. We have a payload od 17000 lbs. But there is no problem if it need to be done in two trips. (7/10/2009)

Response: Great. The photo of your truck looks big enough, I think. (7/10/2009)

Question: Is loking at the dates of 7/22-7/24 ok with you? Did you have other dates in mind? If you checked our feedback you know your looking at quaility workmanship. (7/10/2009)

Response: Yes. Those date work best for me. I figure one day to load and disassemble shelves then the next day for reassembling shelves and placing the stacks of prints on them. We will have 2 people at all times to help direct so it is efficient. (7/10/2009)

Response: One other question ,have you seen our fedback? How is payment going to be made? (7/10/2009)

Response: Yes, you have great feedback. Remind me of your quote and how much you need to start. (7/10/2009)

Response: Our quote is for $ 4000.00. Like most companys looking for deposit, our reputation has been built on uship trust. When job is done payment is required. Our other question is when done we will be paid in c a s h or certified check. If you want to pay a deposit up front you can put down 1000.00. (7/10/2009)

Response: OK, I think we have a deal. I have to get approval of my partners. Let's try to finalize on Monday.
Thanks. (7/10/2009)

Response: Hope you have a great w/end and will talk again on monday. Many thanks. (7/11/2009)

Question: Hi, Alex here from TheTransporters I have a 48' trailer that is as tall and wide as a semi but low to the ground and easy to load, it is fully carpeted and I have lots of pads, I can do this move for you on the 21st for $3500, I have all the tools that will be needed and shrink wrap for the shelves, I also have a custom tie down system to strap stuff well, I have moved fine art work for lots of antique dealers. Let me know if the dates/price works for you :) (7/10/2009)

Response: Just realized that of the 200 framed works, about 150 must be shipped to Florida. So that will lessen the load. Do you ship to FL, too, or should I seek another for that? (7/13/2009)

Response: Indeed I do ship to Florida. As a matter of fact, I am based out of Kissimmee, Florida, and as soon as I finish with you next week, I will be coming back to Florida. I will need to know approximate sizes of the 150 and how they will be packaged. If we can separate them as we load them, we'll put the ones going to Florida up in the front of the trailer. That way, they will not have to be loaded and unloaded again. Please get back with me ASAP with approximate sizes of the 150 or an approximation of how much total space the 150 will take up in the trailer. (7/13/2009)

Response: The 150 framed works are all in wood frames with plexi, not glass. The framed dimensions range from 16 x 20 to 40 x 60 but my estimate is that the average framed size is 30 x 40 (x 2 thick). So that would mean one row that's about 25 ft long and 30 in wide. Add 25% more space for the remaining 50 framed pieces. This may be a 2-trip job; not sure. (7/13/2009)

Response: Yes, I can handle that. The price will depend on how they will be packaged for shipment and where in Florida they are going to. As for the Connecticut move, how much would you like me to bid? We will get that one out of the way. (7/13/2009)

Response: Yes, please place a bid. I have several under consideration and should decide today. (7/13/2009)

Response: Hi. Alex again from The Transporters. I have been doing some calculating and will do the move from warehouse to warehouse in Connecticut for $2500, and then the ones going to Florida should be around $1000 so your total will be $3500. Please get back with me and let me know where in Florida the 150 need to go and when you would like me to place your bid. I'm arranging my entire trip around your move so would like to do it Tuesday the 21st if that works for you. (7/13/2009)

Question: Hi shipper, price is very important, but so is insurance;cargo, workers comp, etc. We had hoped that the two trucks and totally being legal would sway your decision to use our services.Best of luck if you decide not use our services, just make sure you are comparing apples with apples. Thanks anyway. We can come to Ct after bid acceptance to go over everything and if one truck is enough,I will lower my bid substantially. (7/12/2009)

Response: Thanks. Will be speaking w/partners today and comparing all bids. (7/13/2009)

Response: Hi Shipper,I see the bids have gone way down, good for you. However, let me know exactly what your needs are.We can beat any price that is reasonable AND we are 100% legal. If you need art transported to Florida,we can do that as part of this shipment. Please let me know if there is any way to gain your trust as we are probably the most qualified and best on this site that has bid on your shipment. (7/13/2009)
