Response: That's because there is not alot of work in that area so it's hard to get a carrier unless he is already down there for another stop. it's 250 miles away, if you rent a truck it will cost you over $500 with the rental, fuel and per mile rate. Response: It wasnt that I was not interested it's that I sometimes don't understand why people act as if they don't see the price of fuel, and realize that it is not cheap to transport things now. Then they get offended if you point out the cost of things. It's like if the extra money is not going to cause you to be evicted then why not just be fair and lets get your things transported to you? Anyway, I have placed a bid on another pick-up in Roanoke coming my way to N.Va. if I get it then I will contct you to see if you still need this done. It's a 1 cushion chair and small ottoman and my bid is the lowest at $225 they are only trying to find out if I can pick it up on Fri. or not. If you are interested then let me know. But again, it's looking like no one is interested anymore in this so, I would begin to consider how you are going to get it up to you if nobody bids on it. Response: closer to 3pm would be best. someone would be there to let you in the storage and assist with moving up a ramp; however, i dont believe there are wheels on the machines. if so, they probably arent operational. someone (I) will be at the drop off location and can help unload. what would your fee be?
