Response: Thank you for your respnse but as for now your departure date won't work for me. If I send the dog before I get there I wouldn't have a place for him to stay. Give me another day so I can make some phone calls and see if I can leave him with somebody while I get there. I'll let you know tomorrow monday noon at the latest if I can work something out. Response: I think I can make Tuesday work for me. I'm thinking that I can do it a couple of ways. One would be sending only the dog and me taking the train on friday. In which case I would keep the dog at a friends house in California. The other option would be for me to take the trip alog with the dog in which case I would need to know how much more you require and also see if you have extra space for a couple pieces of luggage. I think either way would work for me. Just let me know what you think. Also, since I don't have a kennel, I would have to purshase one so if you can do with the dog not on a kennel that would help me a lot. Thx (2/5/2006)

Response: You are right the trips sounds a bit awkward. I don't mind spending some time on the road though. So myself and my dog for $275.00. You got a deal. That's about what I was going to spend on the train and this way I get to travel with the dog. So is the dog OK without a kennel. I can tie him up so he stays put on one spot on the van.
