Question: Is your boat available for pickup mid next week? (3/19/2008)

Response: yes, it is ready to pick up.
i am still trying to find out about the condition of the trailer bearings.
but the tires are "new."
there are small loose pieces that i would like to have protected, "somehow," on the trip. shrink wrap? inside the truck?
thank you. (3/19/2008)

Response: Do you have loading and unloading facilities lined up for your move.? I would be putting your boat onto a marine transport trailer. I could shrinkwrap your boat if you'd like it done as well. Would have to procure that after the load is committed too. (3/19/2008)

Response: hi
not sure, that i understand the question. this is a very light boat on a light trailer.
it is sitting in a driveway in florida and is aiming for a driveway in new hampshire.
i am not sure what a marine transport trailer is, but i bet it is more likely to be bigger than this boat needs, than smaller?
thanks. look forward to hearing from you.

Response: i understand that the boat and trailer together may not be that heavy (800 as stated), but if you take a look at my profile, you'll see my transport trailer. Granted, i may be able to just roll it onto my trailer..but..i will be loading it with another boat to compensate the load..but..it its too heavy to handle alone.. I can facilitate the loading at my yard..for no charge..the catch may be on your end tho. I have several avenues to work it out if you want to try. (3/19/2008)

Response: that is a lovely rig you have. the seller has offered to help load, if at reasonable hour of day. two guys ought to be able to shove this on yours?
if you had a winch on board, it would be even easier?
depending on when you get to keene, i could arrange for more hands there, too.
think this would do it?
the motor would come off the boat, too, taking load to 600 pounds (or less) (3/19/2008)

Response: That sounds like a plan to me. I can work with all of those plans. Ok..so now to the next part. Are you wanting it shrinkwrapped. I'll transport it AND shrinkwrap it for you for 1450 if you would like that done. It will be done at my yard prior to leaving FL.? Its about 75 miles to my yard from where your boat is located. (3/19/2008)

Response: and this sounds like a plan to me.
i am also concerned about the engine just hanging off the transom for that long a run. either remove it, or make sure that there is some sort of strut down to the trailer?
i sound like a fuss budget, i bet. and you haul boats for a living. so. what do you think?
thanks (3/19/2008)
