Question: Hello Shipper, Can you tell me what kind of parts these are? I'm using a 16' utility trailor. You mentioned that the length is 20', item may extend 4' past the trailor but they will be flagged. Hope to hear from you. Jay (7/17/2008)
Response: Hi Jay, It is a very dammaged airplane... a wing, fuselage, and misc parts. They can hang off the end of a trailer. The longest piece is the fuselage. There is an aircraft engine, dissasembled. This would be the heaviest part. Greg (7/18/2008)

Not trying to rush you or anything but it takes time to find something coming out of your area for backhauls, the way gas prices are right now, nobody can afford to deadhead very far. Response: Jay, If you are willing to do this for $900 cash and are able to pick it up no later than Wed the 23rd- because I'm paying a daily storage fee, we could make this work. I talked to them down there and someone would be able to help you load. I'm just worried about not getting all the parts that they have laying around. It is extremely dammaged and I don't want it more dammaged. If our address is out of your way, I can always meet you somewhere and load it onto my trailer. Response: Sorry, I can't do this for 900. Best I can do is 1225. Your aircraft parts would be treated as my own, meaning that they will be taken care of and sustain no more damage. Please keep in mind that this must fit into a 16' utility trailor, inside measurement is 6'6" wide. Trailor has 2' high side rails. I have additionl space in the bed of my truck if needed. I will also look around and load any parts that may be part of this craft. Hope this works for you, Jay (7/18/2008)

Question: Hello, curious what kind of plane is it? I have an 18 foot open trailer that would fit this plane. Is the landing gear still on it? Tail assembly? Is the canapy glass intact? Doors? I ask because of concern of rain getting in it if its damaged that bad and that would need to be addressed. I come from a family of pilots and understand the importance of your investment and would like to haul it up there for you if you still need it delivered. I am based in North Texas with tons of experience in cross country transport along with plenty of references. Thank you, Robert McKinney (7/18/2008)
Response: Hello Robert, It is a damaged aerobatic plane. The tail assembly is still intact with the fuselage. The wing is in pieces with half in a crate and the other half off the plane but intact. The engine is out of the plane but in a crate. I am not worried about weather damage, it has been sitting outside uncovered for awhile. However, I would like the engine to stay dry. Yes, I still need it delivered. I would like to have it to me by the 23rd. What are your thoughts? (7/18/2008)
Response: My thoughts are to get it there by the 23rd we better get moving. I can see myself spending a half day securing everything before I am satisfied it's ready for a trip that long. I will tarp the motor crate. My total bid is $1053.00 Uship fee included. I am about 1 1/2 hours North of this plane and really wouldn't mind going to check it out first to make sure it would all fit my equipment. First of all he's not even sure that he can haul the plane and secondly , he wants all the money upfront. If you want haggle around $50 go ahead and take his bid .
