Question: I was curious if you got my message, your message stated you would accept my bid but needed some info on the company. We are delivering in Baton Rouge La 12/6 and I will need to pick up 12/7 if possible? I have been in buisness since May 1998, I own a semi truck and trailer dealership, I started hauling to help cover the cost's of picking up the equipment that I am buying to resell! We are hauling camp trailers for FEMA, they are requiring us to carry a 2 million dollar genral liabilty policy, 100k in cargo insurance and 100k in physical damage insurance for non-owned auto's,boat's,trailers and whatever else we haul, We are running 3-2005 Dodge 1 ton Diesel's and 4-2001 Freightliner cetury class semi truck's, we build trailer's so we have several custom built trailer's that are set up to haul just about anything. I just re read the message. you will also note that I declined the 12/6 pickup offer as the dates are wrong. I am still interested in the job and am trying to work out what isa good price versus a reliable trip. I have never done this before and the hard sell is quite extreme. I am not in a rush. Question: I'm not putting a hard sell on you and over the past couple of day's I have had an unbelivable amount of requests from the people I have done buisness with in the past to haul stuff for them, as soon as they heard I was starting to run trucks all over the US. As I have said before I can afford to haul stuff a little cheaper than other's because it is a back haul for us. I am in the process of buying 4 more trucks to try and cover the stuff that people are requesting me to haul,I am also in the process of hiring a full time dispatcher to keep everything running smoothly, so when you say you can't decide whether you want a good price or a good shipper I am quite offended by that because I am both! I have been in buisness for a long time and plan to be in buisness for a lot longer and anyone that I have done buisness with will tell that I am a very honorable and a very fair person. so if you would like to accept my bid and contact me, and I can give you some refrence's.
