Question: Hi, do you have any optimum dates in mind and a target price? Also are you thinking of having this towed or did you want it on a flatbed? Normally you would be looking at $1 a mile but there are exceptions..thanks..Karen Ship New England LLC (3/31/2008)

Response: Hi,
Thanks for your response. To answer your questions, I am open either to towing or a flatbed. My target dates are sometime on or after 14 April through about 15 May. I'm somewhat flexible on the timing. I don't have a target price, but bids have been coming in a fair amount lower than that range.
Thanks, Will (3/31/2008)

Response: Thanks for answering..we are delivering a boat to Spokane around the 20th-21st of April and could come down and pick this one up and deliver in 4-5 days. I will submit a formal bid and we can go from there..it will be all-inclusive (we carry 100K in specific boat insurance for your protection)....thanks again...Karen Ship New England LLC (3/31/2008)

Question: I am trying to put my schedule together, I am willing to place a bid for $1500 door to door & p/u the 13th or 14th of April if you can decide today. Thanks, TheWizeGuyz (4/5/2008)

Response: That sounds quite compelling and I think we can probably work something out. (4/5/2008)

Response: Ok, I will bid. (4/5/2008)

Response: OK, I feel obligated to take your bid as you've been very active with this and forthright. However, there are others that have larger vehicles that have recently rebid to match your price. I *will* take your bid if you are absolutely confident in your car's ability to tow the boat. As I said, the weight is probably a bit over 2,100 - 2,200 lbs...so let me know what you think and I will accept your bid if you are *highly confident* this won't be a problem in any way. Thanks again! (4/6/2008)

Response: I appreciate your confidence in us. I feel we can tow your boat with no problems. I am ready for you to except my bid whenever you are ready. Thanks, TheWizeGuyz (4/6/2008)

Question: What is the total weight boat & trailer? Thanks (4/5/2008)

Response: The boat only weighs about 1400 lbs, the trailer probably a lot less, so most likely less than 4,000 pounds gross, maybe even 3,000. (4/5/2008)

Response: Ok, but that wont work. I thought it was a lot lot less then that.
Sorry, TheWizeGuyz (4/6/2008)

Response: Ok, sorry to hear that. I thought that was a "light" load....boat is 1400lbs, all told is 2,000 lbs. Check it out on any Google search - Zodiac Pro Open 650. Boat is only 1400 lbs...
Thanks.... (4/6/2008)

Response: Well that would work, It has to be 2000 lbs total or less. This is really never a problem with my 1-ton, how ever I am going to the west coast for a family thing & will be in my car instead of my fire breathing 1-ton.
Other then that it would not be an issue. If you think we can get it done, I will re bid.
Thanks, TheWizeGuyz (4/6/2008)

Response: Ok, we're very close from what I can tell. The boat weighs 1430 lbs, the engine weighs 414 lbs in full configuration, the trailer probably weighs about 300 lbs. So I would guess that it tips the scales at 2K to 2,150 lbs. It's your call on whether the car can handle that type of load...completely understand if it can't, but just wanted to give you the full scoop now that I have the information...sorry for any hassle. (4/6/2008)

Response: Hey it is all good, no hassle at all. So I guess we are good to go. I have re bid the job. Thanks,
TheWizeGuyz (4/6/2008)
