Household Goods Shipment Information
  • Wringer washer
  • Total Number of Items: 1
  • Total Weight:100 lbs.
  • Palletized:No
  • Crated:No
  • Stackable:No
  • Item #1
  • Description: Maytag wringer washer, picked up 3 miles from rt 80, drop off 1 mile off rt 80.
  • Dimensions: L: 24" W: 24" H: 36"
  • Weight: 100 lbs.
Additional Information: PICKUP LOCATION IS ONLY 3 MILES OFF OF RT 80 AND DROP OFF IS ONLY 1 MILE OFF OF RT. 80. This is an easy money maker for someone coming east on Rt 80, but it wasn't getting any attention, so I listed it with a $250 max bid. However, $100 is all I can afford and that includes your uship and paypal fees. I'll most likely reject any bids over the book it now price. If someone acts quickly, there may be another one right along rt 80 in Illinois for an extra $50.
A few other dropoff points in central Pa are possible. This can be shipped on pickup if plastic bag is put over the wringer stem. To load the machine, remove the wringer head first and load seperately. Wringer is removed for shipping by turning the lever away from the machine and lifting off the head. Padded with blanket or carboard prefered. Must be shipped in upright position to keep any grease from leaking past the seals.

Questions for this shipment:

Question: Respectfully, even at $75 it's barely worth the time to stop, I believe that may be why it's not getting the attention you desire. You may want to bump it up just $25, 3 digit number might help pull someone off 80. Best of luck. (4/5/2007)
Response: Respectfully, If 4 miles plus a combined 1/2 hour isn't worth $75.00 then the extra $25 wont' do it either. (4/6/2007)
Question: will do for $125.00 plus uship fees. can pick up late this week and deliver in aprox 10 days. if interested let me know (4/10/2007)
Question: sorry i guess i can not do it i have a full load . good luck with your shipment (4/11/2007)
Question: Sorry we missed you. I'm afraid we couldn't make that price again next time. Good luck with your shipment! (4/15/2007)
Response: Yes, thanks for the bid. Ya know for only taking up about 4 square feet I'd think many guys would jump at the chance to have all their meals paid coming across rt 80 (and have some left over) I don't own the washer yet, but the lady is patiently waiting to see if we can get a match. I just got online this afternoon. I know you did your best, so we just missed this time. Send me a pic of your washer. ahhh guess that's not allowed. Keep the q&A line open and maybe we can work a deal on your washer. Maybe post it on uship as a shipment and email me the listing directly. Tony (4/15/2007)
Question: Funny thing is, I have a wringer washer I've been trying to sell, too. We could deliver that one for $100. We do get out toward PA pretty often. Please keep us in mind for future shipments. Thanks for your consideration. (4/15/2007)
Response: Do you run rt 80? I'd be looking for someone to pick these up as I find auctions and listings for them along common trucking routes. $100 is usually what I spend for the washers around here, let alone add shipping. It has to be a pretty nice washer to give you something for it AND give $100 just for shipping. How big is your rig? Keep me in mind. Tony (4/15/2007)
Question: We don't usually run Rt 80, just happened to be going from Dubuque to Wichita & passing through so it would not have been out of the way. It's an old Maytag, a bit rusty on the bottom, but it runs but smokes. If I could fix it up I'd be happy to use it. (4/15/2007)
Response: Is this new bid for your old maytag or for shipping the maytag in des moines? Tony (4/16/2007)
