Response: -Thank for for your interest...The best day for pickup would be tomorrow as my father is in Miami right now and could help you out on that end. If you are not available tomorrow then we could work something else out. I am flexible with the drop off date.
-There will be help loading it on both ends.
-bar is 72" l x 30" w x 42" h
-I estimate the bar to be about 200lbs; you will have help on both ends to load it, especially if you are available to pick it up tomorrow.
-located on ground floor of ranch style home so it will be very easy to move out of the house.
-Like i said, my father is down in Miami now, and he will be taking care of wrapping it up so it is ready for transport. (5/17/2008)

Response: Hi! Thanks for your quick response. I am in Davie, FL (near Fort Lauderdale) right now. Can this bar be picked up tonight? Also, does this need to be taken all the way to Wilmington or could you meet me somewhere west (Hagerstown, MD for example) to save on shipping costs? Please let me know right away as I'm ready to head north. Thanks! Dave (5/17/2008)

Response: Yes, the bar could be picked up tonight or even tomorrow if you are in the area. Unfortunately, I only have a sedan and would not be able to meet you in Hagerstown. Two additional changes to my original post that must be considered:
1) I just found out that there are two bar stools, do you have room for these?
2) My storage in Wilmington fell through, and I would need the bar taken to Philadelphia, PA.
Hope to hear from you soon with a bid. (5/17/2008)

Response: Hi! Thanks for your response. What are the dimensions for each of the stools? Are there any steps or weird gyrations at the Philadelphia drop off? How early in the morning can I pick this up? If we can work it all out and it fits with the stools, I could do this for you for $399 cash up front. Please let me know the answers and if this works for you right away and I'll submit my bid while we still have time to get this done for you. Thanks! Dave (5/17/2008)

Response: The stools are roughly 4ft tall x 18inches wide. I believe that the tops of the stools could be removed to make them significantly smaller and easier to ship, I will check with my father in Miami to see if he could do this. The building in Philadelphia has a ground level freight elevator and I would be there to assist in getting it to the elevator. Should be very easy. One question: Your profile says that you have a van and an open trailer, would the bar fit inside of the van? (5/17/2008)

Response: Hi! If you dimensions are correct the bar and 2 stools will fit in the cargo van I am driving. I don't have the trailer with me. Please let me know. Thanks! Dave (5/17/2008)

Response: David, are you still interested? Let me know either way. (5/18/2008)

Response: Hi! Appreciate your bid request however I'm already in South Carolina heading north so no longer in the area . Good luck with your shipment. Thanks! Dave (5/18/2008)

Question: I will be in your area late in the day 5/21 or early on 5/22 if you haven't gotten it done by then.I will need help loading .I think your weight estimate is way off.I have moved lots of bars and 200 is quite an understatement.Nonetheless 2 men can handle it and I will bring it to your door in Philly for 400.00 (5/18/2008)

Response: David, do you still want to do this? Let me know if you could still go today...if so make a formal bid (5/18/2008)

Response: My name is David ,but I think you are confused on who you are talking to.I can't be there till Wed.or Thurs. morning (5/18/2008)

Response: Yeah I apologize for the confusion, I was speaking to DavidNHecht. (5/18/2008)
