Do you have a (more) concrete day for pick up? Does door-to-door include the fifth floor walk up door?
We would bring it up for you. Pick up day TBD... We may pick up with seperate truck on friday, or the truck that is delivering it may pick it up on way out of town which would be monday or tuesday. We will know by tomorrow which direction we will take. If your ok with the price I would just accept it so we can discuss the dates. It will go on the truck being picked up on monday at the latest.
Okay, I need one day to verify with pick up location - a.k.a family. (I live in drop off location.) I have to verify what days they are working. Unless you pick up in the evenings.

Does this price include door to the door that is five flights of stairs up, or to the door at the base of the building? (I have learned in NYC this is an important question). Also, what is your estimated shipping pickup date? I am looking at the end of the second week in December.
Inside delivery is included. Our only scheduled pickup in AZ before Christmas is in 7-10 days. Delivery would be 2nd week of December.

I could certainly pickup after Christmas, or pickup soon and hold until after Christmas. We're slower in January and February, so quick pickup now and delivery on next NY truck after Christmas would be most efficient.

Okay this is what I gathered from our previous conversations. Pick up will be between 12/09/2008 to 12/17/2008, you go on vacation, and delivery will be between 01/15/2009 to 01/30/2009.
Do I pay a deposit and then the balance in full upon delivery? Credit card or cash?
This will work better for me if I can pick this up between 11/24/2008 to 11/28/2008. My other pick up dates have moved to 12/14/2008 to 12/20/2008. After you accept the bid I will ask you to pay a $500.00 in good fath deposit this can be paid via pay pal and the rest will be due COD. Thank you, Qball

FYI When I pressed accept bid - I was prompted to pay a deposit. Which is fine, but I am not going to pay two (theirs and the $500 one you had requested). Uship seems to have legitimized it on their end, also taking a little fee.

Yes, and that is fine since it protects us both. But I hope you understand why I don't want to pay $100+ to UShip and $500 to you for an "in good faith" deposit. The Uship deposit covers the good faith. After I accept Uship and put my info in, I pay something over $100 with credit card. Then upon arrival of my two items, I pay the balance in cash (~$670).

How about $300 is charged when you pick it up; a three-step program. $125 Uship fee to secure appointment, $300 upon pick-up, and then the balance upon delivery? Sounds fair, no?

Hello - I have a couple of questions. Would you be able to pick up on the 9th? If not, how late on the 8th - if not...when would your next pick up feasibly be? As well, will you be in L.A. anytime soon? Have some things there as well.
