Question: hi shipper - we are a licensed , FULLY INSURED , interstate motor carrier - placed a bid for 339.00 can have this in md by tues for you - we run that route 3 -4 times a week - any questions feel free thanks eastern state (8/1/2009)

Response: We have received bids in the $200 range in the past. Our timing for pickup is as close to 8/6 as possible - delivery date is more flexible. The table does not need to be reassembled at destination as it will be stored. We would prefer to keep some protective material on the table. If you think you can accomodate, we will give your bid more consideration. Thanks. (8/1/2009)

Response: i can work with you a little on the price say 299.00- we do blanket wqrap the piece but can work something out to leave it protected for you - as far as pick-up close to the 6th- we can do the 2nd, 3rd, 5th or the 8th (8/1/2009)

Response: I am getting bids in the $200 range, as such declined your bid. Would you be willing to transport the table plus 2 wood chairs and 2 small children items for ~$250? Thanks. (8/2/2009)

Response: ok so you need a total of 6 pieces shipped plus blankets to be left on the table- what are the 2 childrens items? thanks (8/2/2009)

Response: We've decided to keep the 2 chairs. The children's items are a small folding swing and a excersaucer which collapses. Both will fit easily in a small car trunk. Are you affiliated or operate under any other names? (8/2/2009)

Response: no we arent - are you ? (8/2/2009)

Response: No, I am trying to ship a table and have never used uship. Therefore I am suspicious to begin with. So when another company responded to the message I sent just to you (regarding the additional items), the question begged to be asked ... how did they get the message intended for you?! (8/2/2009)

Response: well the answer from us would have to be that A: if your suspicious to begin with , and still suspicious after reading our perfect feedback from 92 customers we have dealt with on u ship in the last 5 months i would be forced to ask , what would make you suspicious about our business B: all our company info and operating info is clearly posted in our profile so you can see we are a legitimate , fully licensed and insured interstate motor carrier, and c: the other company read your questions on your listing because u ship is an open forum for all to see except for contact information, and D: i would have to decline your request for a re bid- experience has taught us to avoid any situation that we may feel is better off left alone and this is one of those situations- much luck to you (8/2/2009)

Response: Did I offend you somehow? I didn't know uship was an open forum so thanks for explaining that. My suspicions are more general and have nothing to do with your company in particular, more the process...like I said, I am new to uShip. Don't you think anyone in this position would be a little apprehensive. BTW, I guess you skipped over the part where I recognized your "perfect feedback" and am talking to you TO get comfortable. Would you prefer people hired you w/o asking any questions? Wow, how arrogant could you be. If this is how you act before getting hired, I can't imagine how you would be if there was a problem. Good luck to you to. (8/2/2009)

Response: were not offended at all and are always willing to entertain any and all types of educated questions regarding our services- unfortunately questions about our legitimacy we are not entertaing at this time-those questions have been answered- perhaps in the future we may reconsider this policy- im very sorry you have confused foresight with arrogance - please have a good night and thanks (8/2/2009)

Question: hi, I know you have already indicated pickup date, but you may want to consider my bid, if possible we can pick this up on the 16th, deliver next day for 170. please let me know and I will place my bid... (8/1/2009)

Response: I really need this picked up by next friday. Could push it a day or two. Any chance you can accomodate 8/7 or 8/8 pickup?
Also, will provide 2 people upon pickup and delivery as we are not able to provide any assitance.
How much would it cost to insure a $1400 table? (8/2/2009)

Response: thanks for responding, sorry, I would not be able to help in your dates, i am heading to fl in two days, (8/3/2009)

Question: Hi Shipper,my bid expires shortly and I won't lowball to get this shipment. Please consider all bid details and scores on feedback to dtermine the best deal for you.I will not be rebidding, thank you.I appreciate the business. (8/2/2009)

Response: I appreciate your answer. What other items are you referring to, I only mentioned the dining table to you, no?d In my opinion, anyone that resorts to pressuring their clients to hurry their clients is a red flag my book. Based on this and your harsh response to the few neutral/negative comments you have, I will be declining your bid. Thank you. (8/2/2009)

Response: That certainly is your right, however you want p/u by a certain date.It is only proper that enough time is given to the provider to schedule your shipment. The purpose of communication is for all providers to read what your needs and wants are.Obviously ,price is your only concern.Of course when we are 100% right,we have to defend ourselves from shippers that try to take advantage of our kind nature and great service. We pride ourselves on great work and fair shippers who Respect us for what we do everyday.Good luck with your shipment.God Bless. (8/2/2009)

Question: By the way here is how I knew there were other items;Response: I am getting bids in the $200 range, as such declined your bid. Would you be willing to transport the table plus 2 wood chairs and 2 small children items for ~$250? Thanks. (8/2/2009)
(8/2/2009)

Response: Not sure how you got this, I thought I had sent this to another company who was actually bidding much higher. Regardless, you clearly don't handle rejection very well as evident by your responses to me and others. Best. (8/2/2009)

Response: I wasn't rejected,I told you I wouldn't rebid.I wish you well in your move.Enjoy the rest of your day. (8/2/2009)

Question: This cant be that hard to warrant such a huge Q&A.... We are going down to Silver Springs MD the weekend of 8/14-8/16. If it could be picked up either 8/4 ( realizing that that is tomorrow ) or between 8/10-8/13, we could get the table down to you for around $175. Let me know if the time frames are compatible. (8/3/2009)

Response: You're right, its not that hard :) but I do have questions:
1. 8/10 maybe a better date for pickup
2. Is full value insurance included? If not, how much more would it be? Value is about $1400.
3. Do you have 2 people for help in loading/unloading?
Thanks. (8/3/2009)
