Listing Information
Wide Front End for a Case 830 Tractor
Needs assistance loading: Yes
Total weight: 500 lbs
Needs assistance unloading: No
On a truck or trailer: No
Item 1
Case 830
Length: 3 ft 0 in
Width: 7 ft 0 in
Height: 3 ft 0 in
Weight: 500 lbs
Measurements: Estimate (my best guess)
Additional Information: This is for the wide front end only, with two extra hubs shown in the middle of the picture, not the entire tractor. The dimensions and weight are just my best guess. It will not be on a pallet, but the seller will load on to a truck or trailer. I am just south of town a little over a mile, and delivery can either be here, or at the gas station lot in Biggsville, which is on Hwy 34. I have a forklift available at either location. If your delivery point will be somewhere else close by, please make note of it in your bid, or ask a question first. Thanks for looking at my listing. Ray Brokaw Report a Violation

Questions for this shipment:

Question: hi ray this rick from carthage i can picked this up monday and have it to you on tues my bid will be 575.00 i will be in bradford monday for just a little bit if this works let me know as soon as you can and i will submit the bid thanks rick (10/31/2009)
Question: For the weight and distance 400 --500 normal range for this- Thanks (10/31/2009)
Response: Thanks for the information Southeast, but I don't really understand if your question is supposed to be an informative statement, or if you wanted a response, for as near as I can tell, you haven't bid on the listing. I realize I have only had the listing on for a couple days, but I am surprised so far that there has not been more interest in the tractor front end. I had a medium sized tractor hauled a couple months ago from the exact route as this wide front end, only it was 60 or 80 miles farther Southwest than this front end, and there was more interest in the whole tractor and bids were at a lower price. Since you seem to know average bids, can you tell me why anyone would rather haul 10 to 15 times the bulk and weight over a longer distance for a lower price??? Thanks for your estimate if you wrote to be helpful. Sincerely, Ray Brokaw (11/1/2009)
Response: Parts -are expensive to move The weight & Bulk -take up Space just like whole unit --plus it takes longer to load & Secure and Remember When we Bid --a all inclusive Bid includes MY-U- Ship -Fee of Around 100 for this - and Fuel is Up -we will Be Going Up To Decatur Ill around The 15th-- we can offer Transport. Thanks (11/1/2009)
Question: Hello Ray. I'm based in Cincinnati,Ohio the best I can do is 760.00 to haul both the welding cart and the front end of the Case. I've been transporting since 1984 and mainly transport small tractors. Have a good feedback rating also. Have any question and if you would like me to bid on both let me know. Thanks, Chris protansporter513 (11/1/2009)
Question: [content removed - To avoid confusion on the part of the customer, TSP’s may not mention “uShip fees/commission”, or similar language in their Q&A and bids must be all inclusive. -uShip] (11/1/2009)
Question: Are weekends good for pickup and delivery? (11/1/2009)
Response: Yes, the guy that will be loading said Saturday pickup would be best, and other days would work too, he just wants enough advance notice. Any day is fine for me at the delivery end just so I know a rough idea of about what time it may be within a few hours. (I'm totally flexible and can keep in touch when you're heading this way.)If you decide to bid, I also have a 2 bottom plow, (if you know what that is.) that is near Shelbina, MO to pickup and deliver here. Shelbina would be very near to the direct route from Bradford, AR to Biggsville, IL. You don't need to include the plow in the bid, but there will be a bonus haul in it for you if you're interested. The plow is a pull type on two rubber tires, and I'm not sure if the back wheel is rubber or steel. As far as size, they easily fit in the back of a full size pickup, and I'm just guessing maybe 6 or 7 hundred pounds. Thanks for your interest, and I hope to hear from you. Sincerely, Ray Brokaw (11/1/2009)
Response: It looks like I can do both. I will do the math and get back too you. Thanks (11/1/2009)
Question: What are pickup times at Shelbina, MO? What are you looking at in price? Thanks (11/1/2009)
Response: I talked to the guy with the plow, and he is very flexible, a retired farmer, just so he knows ahead of time to make plans. I'm not setting the price, as I'm not a custom trucker. I can go get the plow in a pickup,.... it's about two and a half hours away I think, but I Mapquest the plow and front end the other night, and it is remarkably close, so I figured if I got someone to haul the front end, it would make the most sense to hire the plow hauled too. I have an address, but their MO addresses don't work with Mapquest, so he gave me the directions to get there. It sounds fairly simple to get there. The directions he gave me are coming from the North, so if you get the front end and want to haul the plow too, I'd want to get directions coming up from the South to save some back tracking for you. I'm not sure if you want to bid on the front end without knowing about the plow. I'm certainly not expecting the plow hauled for nothing just because it's "close". Hope to hear back, Ray B. (11/1/2009)
Response: I'm going to have to pass on bidding. Thanks (11/2/2009)
Response: Have a good week. I'm just curious why all the questions and interest, and then no bid. (11/2/2009)
Question: Where is plow located --we will re-bid --But wont do it for free like other parts -you want done for free -- we might make package Deal --Just give Zip code where plow is located --Size -weight Etc. Thanks (11/1/2009)
Response: The plow is near Shelbina, MO 63468. It is a 2 bottom pull type Oliver plow. It is on 3 wheels, 2 of them rubber, and I think the small back one is steel. I don't have the dimensions, but have I've hauled lots of 2 bottom and 3 bottom plows in a pickup before. I would guess maybe 5 to 6 hundred pounds, and if is not in that range I would think it would be lower than 500, I'd have to research to find out if you need a specific weight. What's with the comment you wrote "other parts -you want hauled for free"??? (11/1/2009)
Response: You Declined our Bid --when we bid we check all costs to Bid Accordingly- and many are not aware of costs involved --we will check on plow -- we need width --length - Height -- Might work out package Deal -- For All Thanks (11/2/2009)
Question: Hi Ray, Bruce in Iowa here. We talked about the welding cart. Where is this plow that you are talking about? How far is it from the front end. I have a truck coming through AR very shortly and he may be able to get both of these to you. And I might be able to get over to Medina after that cart. LMK by tomorrow as I'll be gone from MON to FRI this week and off line. Thanks .... Bruce ..... (11/1/2009)
Response: The plow is at rural Shelbina, MO 63468. Map quest shows me that it is 376 miles from the wide front end address at Bradford, AR 72020 to Shelbina, MO is 376 miles, and then 144 miles from Shelbina to Biggsville 61418. I think there will be around 10 to 15 miles to add on for the rural Shelbina miles. If a guy just hauled the wide front end to here Mapquest shows 486 miles, where as getting the wide front then the plow then here would be around 535 miles, (again, guessing the county road driving at Shelbina) so it looks like it would be adding around 50 miles to the most direct route. I'm not sure what the Medina you mention is, but the cart I have listed is at Litchfield, OH. Thanks for your interest, Ray Brokaw (11/1/2009)
Response: Hi Ray, Litchfield, OH is on Rt 18 about 7 or 8 miles west of Medina. I'm from OH originally so I'm real familiar with the area. I also mapped out the other things you have to move and I can work that out too. Let's do this. I'll bid on the cart @200 and you accept it. Then we'll go from there. I won't be in OH until next week sometime as I'm leaving tonight for the SEMA show in 'Vegas and won't be back until late Friday (no computer access) but I need to go as we're in the restoration/custom building/motorcycle business and I need to see what's new and meet with some suppliers. Also my truck won't be coming back north from TX to AR until sometime next week. Thanks!! .... Bruce (11/2/2009)
Question: We can Do All -- will use Bed of F-450 -if all will fit -8.5 Bed weight No problem -- 5.5 k payload cap -- forklift to load and unload ? both stops ? -- $ 975 for All items --Interested we will bid -- Thanks (11/2/2009)
Question: Are both of your items ready to be picked up? I will bid on both if so. Thanks, Jim (11/2/2009)
Response: Hi Jim, Thanks for your interest. Yes, both items are ready to go. They just want advance notice to make plans. I won't be back till tonight to answer any more questions you have. Let me know what you're thinking as far as times of day and price, and I can confirm with the other parties to make sure it is acceptable. Thanks, Ray Brokaw (11/3/2009)
Response: I would pick up the front end on Thursday morning, Nov 5th, and the plow in the later afternoon of the same day. Delivery to you by Friday, Nov 6th, and my bid will include both items. thanks, Jim (11/3/2009)
Response: Sorry for the delay Jim. I'm also very sorry that tomorrow will not work out for the guy loading the wide front end. He told me that the next good time for him wouldn't be until Saturday the 14th. Sorry again for your inconvenience. (11/4/2009)
Response: OK, thanks. Just passing thru. I'll watch and bid agin if I'm going to be in this area around the 14th. (11/4/2009)
Question: Shipper: I have a empty 40' gooseneck flatbed trailer that I will be coming through Ark. on Wed. I can do this job for you for $380.00 please let me know asap because I am looking for something. Thanks. Sthornedhs (11/3/2009)
Response: Thanks for your interest and your bid. Is your bid for the wide front end in Bradford, AR and the 2 bottom plow at Palmyra, MO or is it just for the wide front end??? Let me know as soon as you can. Thanks, Ray Brokaw (11/3/2009)
Response: It is for the frontend in Ark. I didn't know anything about the plow in MO. I will look at it and get back to you. thanks (11/4/2009)
Question: Hi, I just submitted another bid, but it is for the wide front, only, since I got the idea that you might go get the plow yourself. But if you want me to get the plow in addition, I could probably lower my bid for both a bit, if both sellers are going to be home on Thursday to meet me. Thanks again, Jim (11/3/2009)
Question: Shipper, I can do both for 500.00 How late can I pickup both pieces? Thanks Sthornedhs (11/4/2009)
Response: I'm sorry, but the guy with the wide front end won't be available until a week from Saturday, the 14th. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. (11/4/2009)
Response: Mr. I am available to get you Front End now any time Thanks Sthornedhs (11/9/2009)
Response: Hi again, and thanks for your continued interest. You had earlier bids on the wide front end, and another for the wide front end and the plow at rural Shelbina, MO. Is this bid, which is $500 as it was before, still for the wide front end and the plow??? I believe that Saturday the 14th is the next good day to pickup the wide front end. You can let me know if that fits your schedule and you're still interested. I would have to check and make sure, but the guy with the plow seems very accomadating as long as he knows ahead, so I think Saturday would be alright there too. I'm still in the fields here, and can't be around a computer but once or twice a day, but will get back to you as soon as I can if I hear back from you. Thanks again for your communication, Ray Brokaw (11/9/2009)
Response: Good Morning Ray, I keep forgetting you have a plow in Mo. If I can find something to go with your equipment I could pickup on Sunday, The problem it cost me .95 per mile to run my truck and its very hard to find something over the weekend coming from northern Ill.back down south. Let me work on this and see if I can find somethink to get me back home.thanks Sthornedhs (11/10/2009)
Question: Are you still looking to move this load? Thanks, Southern Freight Trucking (11/10/2009)
Question: We can Do All For 600 all inclusive --will Be in Memphis Next Week 16th --17th-- want us to Re-Bid ?? Thanks (11/10/2009)
Question: hi i am leaving tommorow from la. going to id. to pick up a boat. would love to stop by and bring your stuff to you. i drive a one ton flatbed. if you think all the stuff will fit i could do all for you. if interested drop line let me know what you think a fair price would be. hope i can help thanks bo (11/11/2009)
Response: Hi, and thanks for the interest in hauling my items. I'd like to get a bid from you, but I'm sorry to say that the front end is only available to be loaded on Saturday at this time. The 2 bottom plow at Shelbina, MO is available most anytime with advance notice. Unless you would be able to come through Arkansas on Saturday, I don't think it will work. If something changes in your plans of leaving tomorrow, or if you have other business on your way up North so that you could pass through Arkansas on Saturday, please let me know. Sincerely, Ray Brokaw, Biggsville, IL (11/11/2009)
