Questions for this shipment:

Question: Hi, You can read what other pet owners have to say about the care we took with their animals by reading our feedback (Just click on our user name). We would love to do this for you. We can do both legs within your time frame. Normal charges for this distance would be $450 each way but as there is a return we would offer a discount and do both for $650. We need a fairly quick answer as we would have to alter our route to pick up. Thanks for your time - John & Vince (2/19/2008)
Response: I am very interested in taking you up on your offer! I just reviewed your feedback and I feel comfortable with you. Please let me know what day/time you could pick up my dog and how long the trip will take. (2/19/2008)
Response: Hi again and many thanks for the quick response it is appreciated. As animal owners ourselves we fully understanbd the need to make the trip as stress free and as easy as possible and indeed we enjoy having furry friends on board it makes it nicer for us. We would do a straight run from pick up to drop off with comfort and excercise stops approx every 3 hours. We would ask that you provide sufficient dry food of your dogs usual brand for the journey with a little extra in case of any delays. We provide fresh bottled drinking water. A leash and collar is needed for walkies time. A fave toy is often welcomed by the little guys. Another thing that we like to see is a wet pad just in case there any accidents as it makes it more comfortable for the pet until we can get to the nearest stop to clean out. Travel would be in a 6 month old cargo van fully temp controlled to ensure comfort. - John & Vince (2/19/2008)
Response: Thanks! I would of course be able to include food, a leash, toys and a wet pad. Please let me know what day you could pick him up between Wednesday (tomorrow) and Saturday the 23rd. We leave for Peru on the 23rd so it is critical that he is picked up before that. His return date is flexible. My husband and I will arrive home on March 31, and we could work out a date that works best for you to bring him back. I have a scheduled vet visit for him tomorrow morning if you need a health certificate. If not, please let me know so I can cancel the appointment. (2/19/2008)
Response: Hi We would like to pick up on 22nd in the evening. Going out overnight often helps releive stress as the animal will want to sleep as normal. Obviously at this time of year and on that route we can run into adverse weather conditions which mean we pull off the road and into a hotel. In that event the pet also stays in the hotel room. We do not under any circumstances leave an animal unattended in the vehicle. A health certificate IS needed as it would be required if we were stopped at an inspection point. Often they are not open at night but we can not take the chance of having an animal impounded. (2/19/2008)
Response: Sounds great! Brentley does very well in his kennel so I'm sure he would just sleep. I can leave him a rawhide bone as well - that usually keeps him busy for hours. I will be sure to keep the vet appointment then. He is in great health so there won't be any problems with that. What time on the 22nd do you expect to pick him up? I did have plans that evening so I'm wondering how to rearrange my schedule. 9pm would be fantastic but please let me know what would work best for you if that's too late. My primary concern is my dog's safe travel, not a dinner reservation! Thank you again! (2/19/2008)
Response: 9 pm is perfect for us. We have placed our formal bid. Once you accept it our details will automatically be forwarded to you by USHIP and we will contact you by telephone within 24 hours. We are currently in Upstate PA. We do have onboard internet access and can offer you the oppourtunity to even view your pet by webcam during the journey - John & Vince (2/19/2008)
Question: hello, i could deliver it just to you mothers, for a fee of $215.00 please let me know soon, i could do the pick before the 23rd...... thanks 4 your time steve (2/19/2008)
