Listing Information
  • WaveRunner, Long Island, NY to SW Fla. in Nov.
  • Length:11 ft.
  • Width:4 ft.
  • Height:4 ft.
  • Weight:800 lbs.
Additional Information: It's a Yamaha WaveRunner. If you have a trailer to bring it on, then we'd need to get together in L.I. to transfer it from my trailer onto yours, then I'd need you to take the pwc and put onto an on-water lift in residential Marco Island, Fla, some time in about the first three weeks of November. If you want to take it on my trailer instead, then you'd need to get the pwc onto the lift for me (with the help of the guy who lives there and owns it) and additionally then drop my trailer off in a nearby storage facility I'll arrange. I would need the same service in reverse in March if you're interested. Report a Violation

Questions for this shipment:

Question: i have a home in northport and jupiter. i drive between homes at least once a month. i also have boat and pwc trailers so it would be no problem tomove you waverunner any way you want. (9/28/2007)
Response: Hi Pat, Still looking for a bid from you on this shipment, I have another bid so far. I have the address for the delivery: [address removed] I found that the lift which I need the pwc placed on, is in the back of the house, so you would need to get the pwc from the front of the house to the back somehow, OR alternately, launch it from a nearby ramp and ride it there (in that case, I would also need you to please take another 5 minutes to flush the salt water out of the engine with the hose for me). Can you still help me and what will it cost? Thanks again, Rich Forman (10/2/2007)
Response: I have a trailer dolly that might work but if it’s easier to move it by water I will do that. I will rinse the jetski afterwards. Either way it won’t be a problem. I will be in Northport mid October and could move it then if that’s better. (10/3/2007)
Question: I live in NJ and have a winter place in Naples. I can either load your PWC in my truck w/lift or INSIDE my trailer. I will watch your listing. Please read my feedback & profile. (9/28/2007)
Response: Thanks for the response! Either way of transport would be okay with me. I have a friend in Marco Island who has offered to let me keep the pwc on his lift on their canal over the winter. So you'd need to go there and just work with him to get the pwc onto the lift. This would need to happen around the second or third week in November, I'd be very flexible within that timeframe. Will know for sure next week if there's any further restriction on what dates are good. Yours is the second response I've gotten, this is a great service! Can you submit a bid at the beginning next week? Perhaps include round-trip return service in March if you like. I could probably drive the 'ski to you in NJ on my trailer instead of you coming to Long Island to get it. Thansk! (9/28/2007)
Response: As you can see by reading...I WORK LOGISTICAL MAGIC. I have round trip bikes, waverunners, etc already on schedule to & from all locations in NJ/NY & FL. This is not only my living...it is my fun. That and my feedback should say it all. Thanks and look forward to adding you to my customer/friend list. (9/28/2007)
Response: Hello again - well, I got some additional information about my requirements for this job. Schedule-wise, any time between about Nov. 11th and the 19th would be perfect for me. I got the target address in [address removed] However, I learned there is one additional catch, this is where your "logistical magic" will be needed. The lift onto which I need the pwc placed, is in back of his house, so you need to somehow get the waverunner there from the front. You would need to use a rolling cart on wheels, or possibly be willing to launch and then ride the jetski to his dock (behind his house) from a local ramp. (In that case, I would really appreciate it if you would take an extra 5 minutes afterwards and flush the salt water out of the engine for me with the hose.) What do you say, can you help me? Looking forward to getting your bid from the job!!! Rich Forman (10/2/2007)
Response: I can offer a bid from NJ with VERY flexible time-frame being I make this trip every 10 days. If you accept, I can call you to work out the details. (9/28/2007)
Response: Thanks again for the responses....I'm brand new to uShip so I'm wondering if I'm missing something, is there something you need from me before going ahead and making a bid? One question on my part, where in NJ are you located? Also once you submit the bid is there a time limit on when I need to accept or decline it? Can I make the decision next week? I have heard from one other shipper who is based very close to me, I'm sure either of you could do a great job, just want to hear both bids. Thanks again for your time and help. Rich Forman (9/28/2007)
Response: I am located near Giant Stadium. As service providers we can set our bid expiration for any time & date. I hope that helps. (9/28/2007)
Response: Very helpful information. I would most likely have to come bring the pwc to you on a Saturday or Sunday. Looking forward to seeing your bid then? - or like I said, is there something else that you are waiting for or need from me before submitting a formal bid? thanks again, Rich Forman (9/28/2007)
Response: Seems simple enough...Will you be able to get it to NJ? (10/2/2007)
Response: Sure - I would have to drive out to you in NJ sometime either on Sat. 11/10 or Sun. 11/11. I would like the pwc to then be on the lift before the 19th. My guy in Marco Island says there is a ramp nearby on Rte. 951 (there may be others, would you be willing/able to look into this and work that part out of it for yourself? Or do you have a pwc cart you can use instead to get to the back of his house)? I am waiting for your bid letting me know how much the whole job will cost. Thanks again, Rich Forman (10/2/2007)
Response: Rich, I see the lift in the back and the homes are a bit close. However, I will do what needs to be done...$700 you & your ski will be taken care of. (10/2/2007)
Response: So how will you be getting the 'ski to the back? Just making sure you know that of course you can't drive your truck or trailer back there. Does the $700 include any kind of insurance; if not, how much extra would that be? Thanks so much for the quick responses. Rich Forman (10/2/2007)
Response: Insurance is included. The bid is to tow it on your trailer and I will cart it to the back or launch it and ride it back. (10/2/2007)
Response: That sounds terrific. I will get back to you before noon tomorrow which I think it said is the deadline to respond to your bid. The jetski is one of the modern-day big three-seaters (an '05 Yamaha FX HO Cruiser if that helps you), loaded up with fuel, gear and accessories that I'll have stashed onboard, it will probably weigh around 900 lbs easily. Thanks again for the quick responses and everything, very impressive. Rich Forman (10/2/2007)
Response: No problem. From my view if it is the 6th home on the left. It appears to be a PWC dock...or is that a lift? (10/2/2007)
Response: I believe it is a lift. It is an older gentleman, friend of my parents down there, whose house it is. When we do the job I will put you in contact with him as well to coordinate as necessary. Thanks, speak to you later on. Rich Forman (10/2/2007)
