Response: The sale of my mare should be final by tomorrow, and the purchase of the next is contingent on the vet check. I will know more tomorrow, but if all goes as planned she should be ready on the 12th. I can't commit yet though, as nothing is final! Response: The vetting is still scheduled for Wednesday at 11, and if she is clean then she will be ready to go. The vetting also has a rain date scheduled for the next day (she is in a muddy field with no indoor). I just checked to weather (weather.com) and it says it might rain Wednesday but Thursday is supposed to be sunny. Are you definitely leaving on the 12th or is there a chance you may leave on the 13th? Thanks so much for staying in touch.

Response: I actually will be ready to head back Wednesday. If I leave as currently scheduled, that would put me there to pickup that afternoon. I may still be able to wait until Thursday to leave, but I won't know until Monday night or Tuesday (the original purpose of this trip was to pick up a mare I am bringing home, so I have to work around their schedule). Rain chance in that area is down to 30% for AM showers, so it might work out. Do you have a good feeling that the seller is revealing everything & therefore the vetting will go well? Thanks! Response: Thanks for being so flexible with everything. I talked to my contact up north and it looks like the owner hasn't been honest about the horse needing to be moved by the 15th, so she has pushed our vet check off a week. I will contact you in case you may do a run next week, but we may not even end up with this mare because of poor seller communication. Thanks again so much, you have been fabulous! (11/10/2009)

Response: This sale fell through but we bought a different mare. She will stay in Tewksbury, NJ until the end of Dec. I'm looking to have her moved to NC a few days before New Years. I plan on posting another shipment closer to the date. Thanks! (11/22/2009)
