Question: hello is this simular to a Sullair 185Q Portable Air with a pintle hitch ??? (11/29/2007)
Response: Good morning. I have some updated information. This is an Ingersoll Rand 250 model which is sitting flat on a seperate trailer. The estimated weight of the compressor and trailer is 6000#. The best method of transport to MD. would be to load the existing trailer onto your open trailer and secure. The unit is picking up at a government liquidation site, so an appointment would be required. This is the best info I have at this point in time. THANK YOU VERY MUCH. (11/30/2007)
Question: WOW really around 6000 pounds only reason im askin is because the average weight of this machine is between 2500 to 3200 depending on the model is there a reason it is on a trailer and not pullable by its own wheels ? (11/30/2007)
Response: THANK YOU FOR YOUR QUESTION. ALL OF MY INFORMATION ON THIS ITEM IS COMING FROM MY POTENTIAL CUSTOMER WHO BOUGHT THE MACHINE - I HAVE NOT SEEN IT, NOR EVEN A PICTURE OF IT. THE 6000# HE QUOTED ME MAY BE FROM THE GOVERNMENT LIQUIDATION LISTING - THEY OF COURSE DID NOT WEIGH THE MACHINE AND TRAILER BUT ARE ONLY ESTIMATING. I AM TOLD THAT IF IT HAD ITS OWN WHEELS/AXLE THEY HAVE BEEN REMOVED AND THE UNIT IS SITTING ON THE TRAILER. THANKS. (11/30/2007)
