Response: Hi Maria, I really would like to avoid a bus ride from Lawton to Dallas as it always takes at least twice as long to get there by the time you factor everything in. I'm working on getting a vehicle(s) to drive all the way to Dallas. So if you really need it done asap go ahead and take one of your other offers. I would drive your car to Dallas for $215 total bid (includes gas), but I know you said your son can't get there because of restrictions but I was in the military and I don't believe there is a "restriction " preventing him from traveling there rather I'm sure he would rather not have to, which I understand. If a vehicle comes up that is going from Lawton area to Dallas area I'd be glad to do it then. By the way that bid price above is if the vehicle is within 20 miles of Ontario or can be brought to within 20 miles (I'm in the high desert but could get down to there). Thankyou (5/10/2008)
Question: I would bid $200[NOTE: Per uShip rules, bids must be all inclusive. –uShip] I'd certainly change a tire if you have a spare for no charge. And if you could arrange for someone to pick up car in Dallas or provide me a ride to Dallas I would only charge $50 plus fuel. (otherwise I would most likely have to hop a bus there and use up some of my cell phone minutes calling America's Most Wanted and telling them " I found them all". Response: Mike, THis vehicle is going to an army base where my son is. He is in pheonix AZ now, driving back sunday or monday with my sister. I don't think he will be back in OK till Tuesday or wednesday. Ill call and find out. He would not be able to drive down to dallas and back with his work / army restrictions. I had this exact same car before and it gets good mileage. about 35mpg. It is a 5 sd stick. Its about 1300 miles so fuel should be about 150. Question: Hi Maria, I tried to respond yesterday but it hasn't got through yet ? I can drive it to Lawton for $250 plus gas. If someone can pick it up in Dallas instead or if they can give me a ride to Dallas I can do for $100 plus fuel. 23 years Class A truck driving experience. Lawton to Dallas is about 190 miles. Response: Mike, I had hoped not to put the miles on it but may have to do it this way. Its about 1300 miles. My son is on an army base in Lawton. He would not really be able to drive to dallas and back so I would pay the extra $150. This is a stick ( 5 sp) We had the exact same car before and it gets about 35mpg on the highway so fuel expense would be about 150. Tell me what time frame we are talking about here. WHen could you do it. My sonm is in AZ right now and will be leaving to drive back sunday. I tink he plans on getting back to OK on Tuesday the 13th. Question: If this car really does get 35 mpg, I can bring it to Lawton for $1000, If I can drive it and it is licensed and insured.
