Question: Shipper, when is soonest pickup date? Is the list complete and accurate? ( 15 boxes at 20 lbs each) (1/15/2009)

Response: The very earliest would be January 31 and the latest would be February 7. The 15 boxes is an approximate number, unfortunately - it might be as high as 20. Each box is fairly light, but 20 pounds is, again, approximate. It's artwork, so it's largely packing material inside each box. We will be there in two weeks to get exact numbers and weights, but that's also when we hoped to be able to ship it, unfortunately. Does that help? Thanks! (1/15/2009)

Response: Shipper, we handle artwork all the time. We can pickup your items, properly package and ship to destination. You wouldn't have to package. We would provide all these services in our final bid for $699. Thank you! (1/15/2009)

Response: Thank you! They are already packed and in boxes (they are in a storage facility currently), so packing is not required. Additionally, there are "approximately" 15 boxes; it might be as high as about 20 boxes. Each box will vary slightly in weight, as well (though most of the box is taken up with packing material, as you can imagine). Does that change your estimate? I'm sorry I can't be more exact, but it would be easy to add a "maximum number" covered under your quote, then how much it would be per additional box, if that works? (I am not at that location at present.) Thank you for your interest! (1/15/2009)

Response: Shipper, our bid always includes packaging, as it is vital in transporting. We offer this service to our UShip customers at no additional charge. We have quoted your shipment at approx. 600lbs (to be on the safe side). If the weight increases by a substantial (> 80LB)amount or if the destination zip code changes, that would be the play into additional fees. Hope this helps. WINPACKAGING. (1/15/2009)

Response: That makes a lot of sense, especially since it is breakables. They are, as I've mentioned, in a storage area in boxes at present. Would you just go out and repack them? Does the price include boxes/packing material (though I suspect we have sufficient amounts of both)? Thanks again! (1/15/2009)

Response: Shipper, we would repackage/package accordingly. We ship a lot of chinaware as well, and most of the time the items are already packaged by the customer, but we end up inspeceting the items and repackage, just to be extra safe! Thank you! (1/15/2009)

Response: That makes sense. I should have sufficient packing material and boxes (since they are already nicely packed) - can that be reused, so that there is no additional charge for packing material? (If, of course, you need some additional packing, I would expect to be charged for that, naturally!) Mostly, if the boxes are still in good shape(which they should be), I just want to make sure that they will be reused. Also, what is the insurance value/cost on this? Thank you again for your patience! (1/16/2009)

Response: Shipper, we will and can definitely reuse your packaging materials. There is NO additional charge for our materials (bubble, peanuts,boxes...)Insurance is offered at $25 per 1K. Hope this helps. Thank you and keep us updated! WinPackaging! (1/16/2009)
